The bullseye definitely is cool and unique. My pairs of international bullseyes have some big casting flaws, but it gives it character. Another great vid!

I've never understood the whole "on the lower end of collectability" argument. Are they vintage? Yes. Are they cast correctly? Yes. Are they unique? Yes. Do they not have an astronomical mark up ? Yes. Everyone can go searching for Zuvers and 1st Gen Yorks and spend a college tuition on them.... I'll stick with my Schisler Eagle's, Bullseye's, and BEN's.

I like all the plates you named. I think a lot of it is just supply/demand. These are more readily available than Zuvers and first gen Yorks. I also think the depth of known history is greater in some cases. Personally, if I got my hands on Zuvers, I’d lift with them for about a week, film a few videos, then sell and put the money into one of my kids’ college funds. Haha. So I’m with you there! But there are plenty of people that probably think it’s crazy that I’m fine using the weights that I do at their value. So I suppose it’s all perception in the end.
