This is one of the best tutorials I have watched on KZbin. Your explanations are excellent, you do the work unreal Tim ( don’t speed it up so us watchers can’t keep up) and you actually make projects that don’t require us to go out and buy expensive products. Thanks for sharing

I'm in the process of learning to book bind, and it's been hard to find unique ways of putting a book together. It's awesome to know that there are really creative people in the world, who are thoughtful enough to share what they know. I'm a collector of hobbies; I have a million of them, so maybe some day I'll do the same. This is great thanks for posting:-)

So pleased I found this tutorial. I am in the process of making it. I have used the idea for making a photo album which means I have to make the inside pages with the photos before knowing which size screw to purchase. I have not been able to find A3 patterned sheets of paper so I am using stiffer brown paper for the cover. I am still looking for ideas on how to 'decorate' the front of the album! My original idea had been to use a mock leather patterned paper but it was impossible for find anything like it. My album is bigger than your book as I have loads of photos! Also, I purchased a very solid cardboard tube instead of using a paper towel roll. Here's hoping it all comes together!!
