That's a bit of a strange thrust plate at the back... the Lorch has a bushing/bearing right at the threading part, which get put into position when the star wheel for threading is disengaged.

It's a rather simple design. But very easy to adjust :)

I'm watching this to see how the karger locks the spindle...i have a Lorch with sliding spindle, interested to see any difference.

Unfortunately, there is no spindle lock :(
