Welcome back to another video! This is the control box of the Kawasaki generator that I am doing, This was more work than anticipated and it will take longer than 1 week to do. Hopefully, it works when I am done, I am not too familiar with electronic restorations.

Wow, amazing attention to fine details. I love how you fully disassemble everything to make it perfect. That’s how you find hidden things that can cause problems. Example when you found that dead spider in that part.

In the final before/after shots, the top cover seems to have moved forward a tiny bit. Maybe you mixed up front & back of the top cover when putting it back together ?

AJ do you have a bee hive on your property? I recognised the sound of an active hive in the background? And given the warming weather it would make sense theres an active hive.

Did you mount the top Cover the right way? It seem to needs rotatet by 180 degree.

Dear Reader, Just a silly remark. I saw English and Dutch lettering on the original panel of the control box, and after the restoration only English. Why did I notice such a detail, hmmm let me think about that. With Kind Regards, Michel F. van den Brun Dutch viewer

Since it seems the object is going to be ornamental, I would have loved more care in details, printings in the outlets, the sticker in the cover, the bilingual indicators...

🤨…. Looks unfinished ~ the instructions sticker on the top cover is missing, the gages/meters have their markings missing & the rear “socket” panel has no decals on it ☹️. Is the “whole” generator going to be a shelf Queen, or to be used?

I went for a minimalist effect. It's a shelf queen, like most of my restorations. I only actually use newer items that still have good spare parts availability.
