Forgot to mention all the cocaine that was all around Studio 54

There and in many other nightclubs in NY so that info is irrelevant.

@@adolfomalave1938 Actually, Studio was a very different type of coke venue if you were an insider. In the basement halls & lounges, coke flowed like candy, and yes, it also flowed upstairs as well. As one of the "party boys" my partner & i went several times a week, both to the original Studio & then the 1980's reboot. John Blair hosted some great parties, and the famous bridge, coke spoon & light poles will always be a part of its great history, as well as great performers and the crowd.

They used to broadcast non-stop disco music live from Studio 54 every Saturday night on the radio.

I did visit Studio 54 in its heyday. I was 18 the first time in 1979, the legal age at the time. They had a boxing ring type set up in the middle that was roped off and that's where the celebrities were, I saw Christopher Reeves, Susan Sarandon and Bianca Jagger amongst others. I remember I was shocked to see men in the ladies room openly doing coke. Oh I was so young :) The NYC Clubs in the late 70's and 80s were a truly a unique experience.

Wow I did not know it opened up in 1977. And to see how big it was oh my goodness. I was too young to go but heard about it. We had a similar club that tried to be like studio 54. In the state of Indianapolis Indiana. Call Piccadilly I had a lot of fun there.. it was big but not this big. Wow if the walls could talk. ☺️🤦🏽♀️😔☺️☺️

That Really Was, The Place To Be. It Looked, Fun As Hell. I Definitely Would Have WENT. But, I Was 10 YEARS TOO YOUNG. I Would Have Went, And I Always, Would Have Got In. My Personality, Was Perfect For The Place. I'd Have MADE FRIENDS, WITH EVERYONE. EVEN THE STARS. HELL, EVEN THE OWNERS. SELF-CONFIDENCE, CAN BE, A POWERFUL THING.

You did not mention 1- sex rooms upnstairs. 2- open and available various drugs.3- open to all gays, lesbians, drag queens.4- door monitor would not let everyone in. You had to be unique.

You live n learn from mistakes, tax evasion, you didn't HAVE to use drugs, Not have sex casually. But i enjoy dancing in our existening nightspot. Wasn't quite old enough for adult nightspots. Growing up in late 70s early 80s. Napoleon's in Manchester was the nearest to 54 you could get! Just smaller! Luv from England

I visited friends in New York in1978. We tried to get in, but a party of 25 ahead of us were refused entry. The man who led the group was screaming on the street saying he had paid for his party in advance. Apparently, a star or other type of celebrity bought out the entire place for their party and paid more. We decided to go to the Ice Palace instead and had a great time.

Hello again Facts Verse 👋 I remember I was around 9 or 10 years old when I heard about Studio 54. I couldn’t wait until I got older so that I could go there and dance. Unfortunately I didn’t know that disco would be a thing of the past when I became old enough to enter clubs. Saturday Night Fever got me into disco music and dancing. Thank you for another great video Tim and I hope you and your subscribers have a wonderful day.
