Mark was my friend and I took some lessons with him. He was so amazing on guitar and such a nice guy. Rip Mark.

@StJames3325 күн бұрын
@@yokomalight2393 Starting in 2006, Mark was arrested for drugs, and was in jail for a couple of weeks. During his stay, he got beaten up badly by a bunch of inmates for stealing from an inmates property box (he had also snitched on a drug dealer years earlier who happened to be in the same jail as Mark). After he got out, Mark was in bad shape from the attack, and experienced body aches and headaches. He had no medical insurance sadly, and he died in 2007 from a brain hemorrage. He was still a heavy drug addict even at the time of his death. Tragic.

It would be pretty cool if you guys did a limited run of these with that cool vintage Jackson logo & in various colors. Such a cool axe! Thank you for sharing your knowledge & insight on the early days of Jackson & Charvel👍

Tony, gotta thank you and the Music Zoo team for showing these guitars and throwing a bit of the 80s rock guitar history in as well. I was 14 in 1984 and it was a great time to be a kid and into music and rock guitar, it seemed like every month there was a hot new player and a hot new record out. It was just the best. A Hondo Les Paul into a Boss DS1 into a transistor amp may have not been the keys to the Lamborghini but it sure as well was a shit load of fun👍

I call bullshit - this guitar is a fraud. I'd need some serious documentation to believe Jackson were branding Fender style necks as a "Jackson" in 1983...

the picture of the guitar at 2:32 doesn't do it? there's a slew of documentation included in the case with this one. it's as real as it gets.

@@StJames33 No shit Sherlock - virtual all Charvels and Jacksons were custom orders back then. I know the history of this company - and I know for a fact that this guitar would have had been branded as a Charvel at this point in 1983. Bolt-on "Jackson" branded guitars didn't appear until after 1985 and the sale of Charvel Mnf. to International Music Corp. Otherwise Jake E. Lee's Fender would have had a "Jackson" decal instead of "Charvel" in 1983. They also didn't offer the later style Floyd Rose mounting studs and bushings in 1983 😉. This guitar screams fake... show us the 1983 work order sheet from Charvel 🤔

Adrian Smith's 80s Jackson's had strat headstock also. And that Jackson ad from the 80s had several guitars with strat headstock that probably were bolt on. Maybe if Grover made the guitar at the Charvel factory he put a Jackson logo on it?

Modern floyd & studs make it very un-original. Markets dying on these hair farmer guitars..
@Heartkiller999Ай бұрын
Thought about that too, those old posts would come loose for sure over 40 years so it makes sense it has modern posts. Floyd looks older though.
