@@dabrestauracion7404 I know Campagnolo Potenza cranksets were sold in the US, but I thought all of them used the Power Torque system. The mystery to me is how the Potenza set you installed on this beautiful Colnago clearly has the Ultra Torque hirth joint normally seen in Chorus, Record, and Super Record sets.
@dabrestauracion74042 жыл бұрын
@@rangersmith4652 That's because I use a Campagnolo record bottom bracket with an Italian thread. which can be used on all campagnolo groupsets with power torque system. I hope I have cleared your doubts, also to say that unfortunately this potenza group is already discontinued. A pity because it went really well and at an affordable price. All the best ; )
@rangersmith46522 жыл бұрын
@@dabrestauracion7404 I have an Italian-made bike with a full Potenza groupset, and it is clearly Power Torque. Mine cups threads are English, the non-drive side being reverse threaded. But that shouldn't matter. My point remains, your installation clearly shows a spindle split in half and joined by a hirth joint, which is not a characteristic of Power Torque. Ridiculously beautiful bike rebuild - why play funeral home music to accompany it, FFS?!

This bike was really easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

For this type of vintage bikes....is there a modern hub that you can put on it
@dabrestauracion74048 ай бұрын
Hi, friend. You don't need to change anything, any modern hub will do, the normal thing is that a modern brake shoe hub is 130 mm. You have to take into account the distance you have at the back of your straps, in this case it was also 130 mm. So no modifications had to be made. Regards my friend ; )

@dabrestauracion7404 excuse me I meant to say bottom bracket/crank set
@dabrestauracion74048 ай бұрын
Hello friend, you just have to know what the bottom bracket thread of your bicycle is. If it is a French thread, it may be more difficult for you (although you could put two English thread cups on the left side, I don't remember if it was the one on the left or the right, but in any case if your bottom bracket has a French thread, have Keep in mind that you will have to buy two sets of English thread bottom brackets) with the English and Italian threads, you will have no problem finding it. I hope it has been helpful for you ; )
