Ha, ha- I caught that the front brake pads were backwards as soon as you fitted the front brake- " Eeeek- I hope he catches that!" - waited waited, then surely now, testing front brake? All good, caught in time! But goodness- I confess I normally am not a fan of anything gold plated on a bicycle - (love Regina Oro freewheels, and gold chain outer links though)I just found my unicorn- that's stunning! Love your work!

Increible restauración, la perfección pura. Yo soy de Maldonado Uruguay y quiero restaurar una vieja Colnago de acero, y quisiera saber como podría lograr revivir las piezas de aluminio de la bicicleta, si se usa algun producto o se pulen o algo asi. Gracias por tan hermoso video.

Beautiful bike. Just needs the toe straps to be twisted through the pedals so they don't slide. And a different water bottle.

Been riding c record 1st edition since 1986 - Started with superleggeri pedals and Binda straps [ worked great for lots of miles ] but didn't match grouppo. Bought c record pedals with step down wide white leather straps and Campagnolo script insignia in early 90's , looked beautiful but I hated them , for some reason kick up tabs didn't want to work - had to reach down and manually raise pedal to get shoe in. Campy's record titanium pro fit clipless pedals look great and don't clash with the vintage grouppo. 2000 era titanium skewers also please the eye and don't rust or sratch anything. Never cared for Delta calipers , recently removed cobaltos [old super record brakes] and installed chorus 1st edition monoplaners - hope I like them.

Nice bike. Yet, it seems like the Campagnolo cranks and brakes did receive an extra polishing treatment while the gold plating of the frame didn't. Looks a little rough and uneven around the BB and dropouts.

Hi, friend!!! It is complicated to make a good polish on the frame, since it needs very small tools to be able to make all the corners, hence the person who made me the gold chrome, did not do it perfectly. Still, it's a beautiful frame. All the best ; )

is it me or should the bracket be with only one cup with tightening ring, not both sides... also sealed bearings in these cups?

Hi, friend!!! No, it's not you, it's the bottom bracket of the O.M.A.S brand, a brand that made pieces of low weight and with technologies ahead of the time. Hence the bearings are sealed.
