For a 50 year old car, it's in remarkably good condition. When buying a car of this age there will always be things that need attention, it's part of owning a classic car. Will be interesting to see what it makes at auction.

I own a Bentley T1 1970. Similar to a Silver Shadow, basically it's the grille and Mascot that is different. Warning to potential buyers. They are a pride to own and a joy to drive. But they are an absolute money pit. Many garages don't want to work on these cars. Only old school mechanics. Though the engines are massive being either 6.25 or 6.75 they are relatively easy to work on. It's only a basic pushrod not multi-valve or D.O.H.C or fuel-injection. They are pre plug-in diagnostics. Points, plugs and carburettor. Get those sorted and easy to maintain. Parts are mega expensive.

I agree with just the aesthetic things that show age like that top. I am likely too picky. I think in the hands of a person who can or is willing to update and refresh, it is a great $ deal if the under bits are good.

The division is nasty, as the front passenger and driver are not really able to adjust the front seats. The LWB model w/o Division is a much better car!
