What a fun event! I jist scored a perfect winter pink cardigan at the thrift store to swap into my wardrobe this fall and winter. All but one of my cardigans/ sweaters are in palette now that I've had my colors done and I've been struggling to feel great when needing to layer up. It's such a slow process, but when you finally find a perfect piece it's a nice way to rally and not lose hope. Lol.

Great video. I watched it whilst doing some mending / customising of clothes I already had but which were getting a bit tired and worn. I could see instantly that the scarf you swapped was for me (Summer) 🙂

Loved this Sarah! You’ve chosen some great items and it’s so much fun hearing about it and what you might do with them. I will check these sites out. It must be easier to find items 2nd hand in winter colours right now because the shops literally only carry a sea of warm, muted neutrals. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m on the hunt for a pair of ankle boots (not in black as I already have some) but I can’t find a single thing that isn’t warm toned. I almost feel like giving in and buying dark brown because you can’t find navy or grey! x

You could be forgiven for buying dark brown Ally. It’s far away from the face and it goes well with denim and even black ☺️🖤

Great video! Love the bikini with the 80’s black & white blouse as well as that last set. Looks amazing on you! The pink/red items will definitely be upcycled into something amazing too, I’m sure!

Those are all gorgeous pieces. The pink jeans would make a wonderful bag, I think. The dress you could make into a kafkan or something like that maybe to wear on the beach or something like it. I'm not sure how big the shirt actually is but it looks awesome. Isn't it enough to just tuck it in or do you have to alter it in order to wear it every day. The earrings are fantastic as well, especially now that it's getting winter and a pop of colour is always nice to have.

The two thrift stores in my town help charities--one the money goes to food insecurity and funds the food bank and the other funds the rehabilitation center for the mentally disabled.
