Got one of the older models, with more symmetrical horns (before Gibson sued them for being a pretty much 1:1 copy), but still with neck binding and Wilkinson hardware, in ebony color. Amazing guitar for the money!

After watching this upload, that settles it for me. To Gibson/Epiphone: BYE 👋!!! Wilkinson with his Vintage line proving that you don't have to spend over $1000 to get a quality electric guitar anymore. On top of that, he makes sure his reasonably-priced models can also be had for long-suffering southpaws like myself for good measure HALLELUJAH!!! Been eyeing some SG models out there of late trying to nail one down for my first official electric (even some DIY kits, though I'd mainly get one just for the pre-assembled body and neck while supplying my own hardware/electronic upgrades). Think that VS6 will do just fine if I do find one in stock and finally have more "stimulus" to work with for once... 😄

I assume you’ve got yourself one over the 10 months you’ve posted this comment but either way i highly recommend them mate. Mine has been going strong for the past 4 years and is my main axe for really anything. Sounds incredible on cleans, heavy rhythm, and surprisingly well for leads.

Im late but i have an epiphone les paul standard and a vintage v100 midge ure.. the vintage is 100% better in quality and sound. Now im switching my epiphone sg g400 pro into a vintage vs6v
