I absolutely loved this trip - I laughed out loud, I didn’t have to travel in the vehicle with my husband driving and I didn’t get bitten by even one mosquito - win, win, win. I so loved the banter between you and Jeffrey. I loved the antiques shops (wish I was there for that part). There was a circular stained glass window I was hoping you would get for your studio. I just knew you were going to buy the frog - I like the name Fred or Freddie. Oh, and the door, I LOVE the door! So very much worth the trip! I wonder why the doorknob was so low. I know people are taller now but……….

I dislike camping in the sense I don't like being dirty for extended periods of time, and sleeping in a tent is the worst lol I do love hanging round the campfire and relaxing, reading, cooking, conversing and being in the middle of nature; however, give me a camper or cabin to sleep in and some sort of wash station LOL Sleeping on a mattress in the back of a vehicle like you did would probably do in a pinch. This was fun hanging out with you two.🏕

And I dropped everything while thrifting at a charity shop two weeks ago to grab a beautiful uranium vintage jug. It was a toss up between a handblown glass vase with white swirls or the uranium jug. The jug won but now I have regrets not also buying the murano vase. Kicking myself. Lol. So yay🎉 that you went back to buy the rug or carpet it is stunning. You heard us shouting through the phone "buy the rug!!!" 🗣️📱🎶 Your stained glass door is also stunning. 🎉 It was worth a 6 hour drive for, in the Hyundai which I would love to own. The other stained glass window is lovely and the pig, tin, Captains Quarters plaque which you could also put on the toilet door. 😅 Your Howdy Doody frog can be named Howdy Doody. 🐸😉 He sparks joy. I think it's a he. And Jeff made me laugh. He vanished and went to sleep in the car which is exactly where I would find my partner. He hates shopping. Wow. The door is stunning. I would have driven 6 hours as well. I use my Subaru as a hotel room on the regular. A few inches of dense foam under your air mattress, you can cut around the wheel wells, will make all the difference between sleeping okay, and waking up to plan the next trip. ;-) PS What an awesome new sponsor! I'm wondering if you could add a very thin, barely opaque film to the back of the glass so that it blocks looking directly into the upstairs area. Hear me out - it won't block the light from getting thru but would give you a little privacy, ya know? What if you're working away, the door is shut and you need to pick your nose! Wheatley resident here. If you come back to the deep south, highly recommend "There's no place like home" between Wheatley and Leamington. Chatham also has a wild number of thrift stores so you can bop to about 8 in a couple of hours. My top picks are Mission Thrift Store, New Life and Loads of Love.
