Brilliant dose of nostalgia, proper sized products, girls looked like natural girls, loads of fun, fanciful and enjoyable ad ideas and no bloody charities, life insurance or funeral services. In fact compared to today's crap, ads of these days on this video were often as entertaining as the show you were watching!!!!!!!

It breaks my heart now when opening a chocolate bar and it's barely half the width/height it used to be. Are we not supposed to notice? It's the same with a lot of consumable products now. Toothpaste is a good example; half way through the tube as you're squeezing, you get this 'POP' when the half-inch pocket of air that was in the middle finally reaches the nozzle. I think we're definitely being 'misled' in the name of profit margins.

I see I never made any observations on this one. Miriam Margoyles voiced the 'Mr. Beaver' Caramel ad. Kika Markham in the Cornetto ad. The lady in the Walkers Crisps ad is well known but I can't recall her name right now. The Devil in Kit Kat ad played by Ken Campbell and the Angel was P. G. Stephens! 'Finger of Fudge' jingle written by Mike D'Abo(ex- Manfred Mann). 'Mr. Kipling'' voiceover by James Hayter. Mel Smith in the Terry's ad.

What was the storyline behind the Toffee Crisp one? That he doesn't have any money, but in compensation he gets a tasty chocolate snack? Or is it an empty wrapper, and the implication is that the cashpoint, or perhaps the person inside it, is enjoying a Toffee Crisp rather than doing its or their job? 🤨
