Thank you for this video! You show what you did but not how you did it. I guess the connecting and soldering was not complicated.

Can you share the wiring/installation manual for this unit or do you have a diagram you can share with me? Thank you

I know this video is old but stumbled on it , im from the usa and currently looking at these radios for my VW cause i want factory radio , The DIN plug , is sit audio in and audio out? I want to know if i can add an external amp to the din plug but also have Bluetooth/AUX in all at same time , Cause i want to have 4 speaker channels on a single mono radio or if i can find a 2 channel stereo which are quite rare. But at this point i don't care if its mono on all 4 speakers or if possible , can one convert one from mono to stereo and add 3 more speaker channels on top of the already existing one?

Nice video, where did you get the wiring diagrams for the install? Are they provided when you buy the unit from Aurora?
@blitzroehre18072 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is a universal "how to" provided by them, in the end it is up to you though to determine how to connect to the tuner inductance, volume pot etc. No specific make or type of radio is covered, but if you are clued up with electronics its no problem really..

A question.. have you ever had to deal with a V series from 1964-65? I ask you why I would like to know if the aux DIN input of V series is for audio signal (music from tape) or for something else (for example, the motorized antenna). Thank you
@blitzroehre1807 Жыл бұрын
These DIN sockets are almost always for powering and audio in of external tape players. In another video of mine I explain how to use the connections in the DIN jack for Bluetooth audio in. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqK1dnR_lsyWqNk

I rather keep the transistors but how do i ad a line in? I don't mind it's mono if the radio can handle 4 speakers in parallel
@blitzroehre18072 жыл бұрын
See the plastic plug with the wire bridge in it on the back of the radio? This DIN plug is where the audio is looped through before going to volume pot and amp. If you pull it when radio is on the sound goes away and that is where you should put your line in

@@Rainbow__cookie Ok, did you find that white plastic plug on the back with the two pins bridged inside? You will want to jippo your way into the audio line to the amp just like Terry at D-Lab did it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGm8ln1miZh3pqs Except that you wont need to open up the radio, all you need is a DIN plug to plug in the back after removing the white plastic dummy plug with the bridge wire in it. This plug BTW was the factory AUX in back then for external car tape decks.
