I think it was a mistake buying the wrong year car for a Christine tribute. It just didn’t do what he’d hoped with views or interest and the fact it’s obviously not a 58’ is mostly the reason. On a 59’ the grille, bumpers, trim, and especially the fins….the fins on a 59’ are totally different from the 58’ really the whole back 1/3 of the car is drastically different. It’s kind of like taking a black 89’ Trans Am GTA, changing wheels and adding a couple of the interior parts, then calling it a “KITT” from Knight Rider tribute. It’s the same model and generation but there’s just too much different.

This comment will probably never be seen or responded to but, here we go. Audi Quattro ur. Very underrated. Yes parts are a bit to get your hands on but, with the right connections and a decent budget that could be a very valuable car for his collection. Personally I’d kill own one even in the condition he bought his in. Not many know but, they are the same bolt pattern from engine to trans as Vw 4cyl. Meaning he could stick anything from a mk2 Vw 16v to a 2.0l tsi and every 4cyl Vw engine in between. Those all have support still vs the Audi engine that almost has none. Personally I have a built 16vt mk2 engine that’s meant for a mk2 Jetta to go make 650-700whp. If given the opportunity I’d send the Jetta to scrap and stick my 16v in the Audi all day everyday. Probably a 40k-50k$ build if done crazy probably 30k$ if done on a budget. Swapped and modded ur probably go for 75-100k plus. It’d be a very time consuming build and he’d be buying a lot of over priced used parts.

The problem that I have with Freddy's P1, is that he paid way to much for it. Based on the amount of recoverable components, it was worth $100K tops as salvage. It will no longer be a P1 when he's done with it. Which was what the speculative value of its $500K salvage sale price was based on. It may be a fabulous looking and performing car when he's done, but no one will be paying him what P1's are going for. I hope his YT revenue will compensate. His "P1-Evo" will be in the realm of the DDE F12: exotic CUSTOM cars. Who's true monetary value will be in eyes of the owners. Very few people would be willing to buy them for anywhere near what they cost to buy and build. A new owner would have great difficulty in even getting the cars serviced in the future, thanks to so many one-off components.

But he thought there was far less damage than there turned out to be. The auction sale price only made sense if it was going to be returned to stock P1 state. $500K was likely 5 times what Freddy should have paid for it. Freddy got "took" imo. I hope he can recover his loses in YT views, because he won't trying to sell the car. Radically modifying a hypercar into something else is a huge gamble. Look what turning a perfectly running and beautiful F12 into a drift car has cost DDE.

So about a 5% return gross ( they have to be insured, taxed, housed, and fixed time to time ) if you were just a non-KZbinr ( obviously they are assets that provide content to give him an income ). Sorry guys. Those Supras aren’t worth that much. The white LHD was a SE non turbo with high miles. They re used the GE block and only did a turbo VVTI head and turbo kit. It has horrible interior as well. I think 50-60k is generous. The blue car has some nice parts on it but at the end of the day, it’s a rhd. Maybe 50k or so. Definitely not 90k each lol. The RX-7 albeit in rough shape is still an FD. With some cleanup, it’s gotta be worth more than 15
