My favorite quote from Ed: "Whatever your interest is in the automotive hobby, it isn't something you need to keep to yourself." The story of him inviting Doug on that rally in his hooptie personifies how he's lived by that mentality from the start. Two OGs of automotive KZbin right here. I followed Doug back in the 360 Modena days and Ed since 2018.

Having been watching both VinWiki and Doug DeMuro since 2016 this video is something id been wanting to see for so long. I remember the first time I watched the 28:50 video and hearing you mention Doug as a possible co-driver and getting so excited just to hear later on that he couldnt. Ever since that video id always wanted to see doug here on the channel. And now this year after all this time of hearing you guys were friends but never seeing you interact, this video is VinWiki history for me.

I don't think you realize how many people would come to watch/listen to you and Doug chat it up in a podcast for 3 hours. I think the numbers you would get, would blow your mind. Just saying. When and if it happens, I'm here for it.

When he was an ATL car spotter, and he took his first ride in a Ferrari with me in the 360, in which I tried to scare him. Then when I asked him if he wanted to drive - he said "no, I want to save up and buy my own." Which he later did! Awesome!

It makes me really happy to hear the stories from Doug and Ed, and that they get along really well. Also shoutout to Ed for being kind and welcoming to Doug back before he was famous. You can tell Doug never has forgotten that. You can tell a lot about someone by how they treat people who they can't benefit from in some from... Ed is good people. Happy holidays, Ed and Doug.

Ed, Doug and Tyler are absolutely my three favorite “car content creators “. I’ve been a VINwiki user since 2016; I’ve read Doug since the CarMax Range Rover on Jalopnik; and I’ve followed Tyler since Hoovie’s Garage 1.0 with the 760iL. These three guys are legends. It’s been so much fun seeing you succeed in your endeavors, grow into family men and absolutely change the landscape of car culture. Congrats on all you’ve accomplished and here’s to all your future ventures!

Hardly comment anymore but I can’t remember another podcast style Ed and another guest, doing this on here and it was great. This will be elevated to Ebay Outlaw status, I’m certain. Two people who created a specific need to feed their own agendas and carved out very unique, niche segments of self produced content that has garnered the spirit of car culture and embodied the disease that is self inflicted.

You two are textbook cases of all books on manifesting the life you want. And then it turns out even better. From just doing what you love and providing service, on your expertise and affinity, to as many people as you can impact. The dreaming about the cars, being around them before you can afford them...als the way it's described. Some can do this naturally, others need to be told.
