eSnacks actually a pretty cool idea. One of my customers, (I build $5-$8 million dollar homes occasionally much more expensive) spent about $200,000 on some crazy exotic carbon fiber Porche. We teased him and said he could have bought half a dozen used Boxters for the same price. So he bought three of them almost as a joke to tease us.

I wholeheartedly feel that the best sports car you can buy right now for under $60k is a Porsche 911 turbo, specifically the 997 generation, boasting one of the best Porsche built engines. 480 horsepower and nearly 500 lbft of torque, coupled with a 0-60 in less than 3.7 seconds sounds perfect to me!

Agreed, was wondering why 997 wasn't mentioned, and all 996 cars were mentioned. 997 I guess is still a bit tough to find "easily" 60 or less. You can find some high mileage manuals, or tip cars but they might be a bit tougher to consider a "sub 60" car. I did just see a 997.2 TurboS Cab with 105k for 59k. If mileage isn't something that scares someone that is a crap load of car for the money.

Seeing the BMW i8 value creep down to 60k, this hurts since I bought one at 78k, but I think it's a great value right now for anyone considering one. I agree with Hoovie. Get an i8 and get a pretty reliable exotic that you can service by yourself. I've been doing that for the past year and uploading the steps to my channel.

Great video.. you can’t beat a C8 for $60k… I guess it’s all preference but a 2018 ZL1 Camaro with 650hp seems so far and away the best sports car in that range. Maybe a close 2nd is a Mustang 350 GTR… Also, 2021 Jaguar F type R @ 575hp with all wheel drive is now entering that price range. Keep an eye on 2019 BMW M8 and M8 competition as well… M8 already entered that price range. The Competition is the best performance dollar for dollar on the planet.

I've been thinking about this question and I landed on a 2014 Audi S8 that's selling now for around 34k. I would have a ton of money left over to go crazy at Renntech. The S8 is a full sized luxury sedan that has room for a family, and stock it's rocking over 500 hp.

Sounds nice until you realize it's 1k when the window won't roll down, 3k for a wheel barring and so on. People that can't afford repairs will defer maintenance then try to pass it on to someone else. There is a reason why certain luxury vehicles tank in price on the used market.

Only a problem on the early Tuscans, most were recalled and adjusted. It was resolved very quickly. Ferrari's are still the king of becoming fire balls.

Love this type of video. I'd like a best handling sports car for $30K or less for the back roads, not the track. Horsepower can be used as a leveraging factor, but it can't be the #1 factor in the decision. That must be the price followed by handling followed by reliability followed by cost to maintain.
