Beautiful. This is the style that I practice , but I'm at the intermediate level . The feeling of balance and tranquility who gives is wonderful. P.S. My compliment for the choice of the song.

Hey Dylan, Just started and I am a few weeks into your beginner's program. Having played football for over 15 years and doing the 'casual' strength workouts in the gym, I realised just now how inflexible and stiff I am especially when it comes to hips and hamstrings doing your workouts. A lot of exercises that seem so easy when you do them are hard challenges for me, but I'm at a point where I really got to enjoy the yoga you teach, stretching really became a thing of sensation, like you said. Hoping to advance more and more - greeting from Germany!

Love Sigur Ros, got to see a film festival presentation after their last album came out. Beauty of a track for this video. I've been trying exercises like this for several months now in lieu of running to give my body a break. I almost have the planche down. The most difficult move for me currently is the forearm handstand. I can't transfer back to my hands once on my forearms yet. Soon..... May need to start mirroring your videos for practice.

Really inspired by this Dylan. How long roughly would it take me to get to this level if I dedicate myself and commit to a consistent yoga practice... and what exactly would that mean in terms of sessions of training per week.
@ckchrisw9 жыл бұрын
+tangolobo Indeed!! Read on various interviews that he had a wrestling/fitness/rock climbing/martial arts background when he was first introduced to yoga in 2001. Then started teaching yoga in 2011 after 10 years of what he calls advanced movement training. So I'm guessing a bare minimum of a few years of very dedicated practice for an elementary level of mastery? But his level of control though, likely another few years. On a related note, he offers a True Strength program that might be of interest to you

that is a one legged crow. once you have crow, you can work on this from downward dog. having one leg straight is actually easier - that is a good example how he does it
