Kudos for sticking with your own local, proper, football team. 💪🏻 I understand your stance on John Coltrane, although it appears you haven't watched enough episodes of 'Jazz Club'. That'd fix it. I have sympathy with your feeling on Led Zeppelin too. I am a little suspicious of your attempt at seeking some advantage by sharing your love of ginger cats though. 😅 The VC's premier Beatles fan. I think you deserve that title. 😁 Godawful story about your old mate Paul. It's comforting to know that, after these years, he still means a lot. That's friendship.

Nice entry Rob and good to see Curtis getting involved. I think Dale at Gatefold 33 has the best line about John Coltrane's album 'A Love Supreme' - 'it'd be much better without the saxophone'. I knew the name Oldham from my earliest childhood courtesy of a joke in one of the Magic Roundabout books my dad used to read to me, where they go on holiday to Oldham-on-Sea. A couple of lads I knew from school days got killed on motorbikes, dangerous machines. My dad had one back in the day but my mum made him get rid of it.

I've lost good friends myself Rob over the years,it's heart breaking I know but I always remember the laughs and great times and they keep me going. I used to follow non league Kettering Town home and away many moons ago but aint been to any sort of football match for a long long time. Non league football ain't as easy as a lot of folk think. I'm sure that there's only been one team that got relegated from the football league and went straight back up the following season. After Kettering dumped Northampton out if the FA CUP this season,I was praying that we'd get Oldham in the next round but I think you got beat by Orient I think ??? Maybe next season matey 👍👍👍

I have had a few bad experiences with ginger cats, so I was a little afraid of Colton, but he only bit me once, lightly. I've always wanted to see a match at Old Trafford. Led Zeppelin is an intriguing answer. Alvvays - great choice!

That was a very moving story Rob you've got me there today I'm a bit on the edge. My mate died during lockdown and his huge mostly CD collection got split up but if you recall the sealed Weller album I gave you came from him. Oldham and Bolton two bogie teams for gooners, always cold, snowing I think we came a cropper many a time there and more latterly Man City have taken us to the cleaners at their place too. Bit jealous of your euro excursion coming up tbh very big fairs in huge halls I think you'll struggle to get round them even over couple of days.

John Coltrane to really avoid - Ascension (which sounds like 4 blokes playing completely different music - at the same time) Led Zeppelin. I actually agree about Led Zeppelin 1 and 2. I sold both. Don't care for them. But 3 onwards are far better IMO.
