Love that he picked Pleased to Meet Me. Hipsters will scream for LIB but PTMM has the best mix of songs and sonics. Can’t Hardly Wait is the perfect blend of energy and arrangement.

Knew Op Ivy would be there. Bowie was a perfect choice. Mike played on Screeching Weasel's 'How to make enemies and irritate people'..another great band and record. Picking a top 5 records would be hard....but Beck would for sure not make my list.

I'd pick all five. I have all five.... I can understand the Beck disconnection. I think I would have picked Odelay, but Mutations is a good album.

@@MiguelPaulettePerez-bj8ml i just got bored with him after his first big single LOSER way back in 94. Tried a few more cd's and even saw him live, but never could see the mass appeal. Good marketing behind him though for sure. I'd have a RUSH and CHEAP TRICK record in my top 5 for sure.

I'm 66 and for years my family said that if Richard sells his albums hell must have frozen over. Well, I did 5 years ago. They take room and have weight. Sticky Fingers is arguably the stones best but my best friend for years was the biggest Stones fan. Sister Morphine was taken "off" the U.S. release because of drug references. In a used record store that I used to peruse I saw an import and bought it for him. Different cover, no zipper, and it had Sister Morphine. John Cusack, (Uh, w/Jack Black) had a movie High Fidelity and he lived where I shopped. No internet kids. So, many of us more artistic, for lack of a better word, spent times in the used record stores. I sold many, many times and got next to nothing for them but music in the vinyl mainly was a great drug. My sister thought Green day was dumb and I retorted that No, they are earthy, street urchins but they have heart and soul and aren't idiots. It's about living in a hopeless world. And then they got really big. Be true in your music even if it's mixing hard rock and punk with show tunes. Ha-ha-ha. Oye-vay!

If you're into vinyl spend the $$ and buy a high end needle. They wear out! But when they are new? Nothing like it.
