Very well stated when you said, “sometimes kids go down a wrong path before maturing but they never imagine that something like this would happen. She deserved every chance to fix things.” I was like that at 14. My home was incredibly violent and dysfunctional. I ran away from home 3x. Walking the streets of Los Angeles in the wee hours of the morning alone. I was ripe for a fate like Sheinna’s. I got that chance to make it right. I graduated HS and university and live a very normal middle class life. It terrifies me to look back on my teen years. I can’t believe I’m still alive.

@ I have. However, it still surprises me that some people find it hard to believe. I don’t blurt it out wherever I go, but opportunities do arise. They take one look at me and go, yeah, right. But that’s okay. Just goes to show how incredible the transformation when you choose to turn your life around. It’s a God thing. Some people just don’t understand.

@newyitty1846 we all live our lives never even knowing how close to death,or evil we come sometimes. I think of all the times I ran around the Bronx or Washington Heights, Spanish Harlem copping dope, heron, and probably don't even know when I was walking into a trap,or dealing with someone who was plotting for my money,or dope. Like you never knew if there was a stick up kid watching you leave your car,and go into a building, and waiting to Rob you,and maybe even being willing to kill you. This girl, just Luke alot of us at that young age,was just beginning to live, and in so meeting people, bad people, good people whatever. But thinking she got this, met the wring people. Really sad and unjust for her. And to hear that her Mon is still right there, where this happened is fkd up. She's probably too poor to just get up and move. Anyways, I'm from upstate, Ossining, but know the city real well especially the Boogie Down and Manhattan. Take care

Wait, wait wait!!!!!!! 40 years to life WITH the possibility of parole???? Are you kidding me???? I'm totally disgusted with those sentences. No way in hell that evil monster should have been giving a 'possibility' of parole. That's a freaking joke WITH a slap in the face. That means that P.O.S will be 63-64 if he's granted parole giving, he has already served 20 of his 38 years so far as of 2024. This is totally unacceptable and pathetic. Do those jurors not understand that she was a child and the severity of those horrendous acts that was done to her? Do they not have kids of their own? SMDH!

FIRST, THE GOVERNMENT STOP PARENTS FROM BEING PARENTS, AND THE KIDS KNOW IT!!! SO, IF YOU AS A PARENT EVEN THINK OF PUTTING YOUR HANDS ON YOUR CHILD YOU WILL GO TO JAIL!!!! THIS EQUALS TO THESE KIDS GROWING UP WITH NO FEAR OR RESPECT FOR THEIR ELDERS!!! IF YOU THINK IT WAS WILD BACK THEN ITS WAY WORSE NOW!! THE KIDS TODAY HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR ANYONE, AND UNALIVING SOMEONE AND SEEING SOMEONE UNALIVED IS NOTHING TO THESE KIDS TODAY!!ALSO, PARTLY DUE TO THE INTERNET AND ALL THAT CAN BE SEEN!!!! THE GIRLS ARE EX WORKERS, OFANS, SUGARBABYING, SET UP GIRLS, AND STRIPPERS!!! AND THEY HAVE NO SHAME ABOUT IT!!! First things first, Chief José. I wish you, your friends, your family, and all of your loved ones the happiest, most abundant, most uplifting, and most prosperous Christmas season ever. Your productivity, eloquence, and down-to-earth charisma as a storyteller shall always be remembered from generation to generation. Please continue to stay grand, great, and glorious as a content creator. I want to dedicate this Christmas season to Sheinna Morales's memory as well as extend my condolences to her loved ones and family. Sheinna was quite the vivacious, fun-loving, and cool girl who had awesome tastes in music bands and had a whole lot to look forward to. She also seemed to be the type of person I would have gladly looked up to as an older sister if I were to have lived in that area in the very early 2000's. I would have also loved to have been close to her akin to a sibling. That lousy, low-down, four-flushing demon carcass known as William Hernandez should never have had any business with such a precociously mischievous yet quick-witted young teenage girl like Sheinna. The fact that he dared to shamelessly annihilate her innocence and shatter her life was atrocious and would make my hair stand on end as well as my blood, veins, and arteries congeal. Given what Hernandez did to Sheinna, he should never receive. He should either rot in the deepest, darkest, dankest cisterns of prison or receive an appetizing taste of vigilante justice, with him as the primary target for even more vicious inmates. Turning my focus away from that bastard, I pray that his girlfriend ended up escaping with a happy, healthy child who has grown up to be a much happier, healthier adult. When all is said and done, may Sheinna's legacy as a young, bright-eyed, curious young lady be forever preserved. May this comment also serve as a Christmas gift to you and Sheinna's loved ones. I know I would have loved to proclaim a lot more, but I will leave it at that. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

R.I.H. Sheinna 👼I hope her friend doesn’t blame herself, I believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason. Sheinna wasn’t the first young lady to do what she did & certainly won’t be the last, she just happened to run into a monster that night & telling her story IS a lesson that other young ladies should heed & hopefully make a better choice ONLY for the fact of real life monsters being in this world & NO ONE knows where they will encounter one of them! I don’t feel that Sheinna did anything wrong, she was just wanting to live life & had a curiosity to her. We’ve ALL heard stories about kids being hurt just by going to school! Thank you for telling her story, since I live in Ohio, I haven’t heard about most of these cases, & I feel that the victim’s story should be heard by everyone, each & every life IS important & DOES matter! I was the same age as Sheinna was back then and one thing about the pjs, you do not go out in the late hours cause it puts you at such a dangerous risk. @@ShareeRedd I promise you it was a big deal. You just think it's normal. The Mother even felt comfortable to let her 15 year old be gone for days thinking she was with a boyfriend. Grandma would not have allowed that. It took a friend to go to the police. The friend did more than her mom.

@ShareeRedd Maybe not a BIG DEAL for many kids and their families, but clearly, it was in Sheina's case. While is wasn't her mom's fault that this horrible thing happened, it is a terrible idea to let a 15 year old be out and about in the streets. Sad and preventable.

The amount of Haynes crimes in New York alone is astonishingly disturbing. Just like in Chicago they have sooooo many sick crimes that the news couldn't cover them if they tried. Rip all the people harmed for no reason lost to crazy sick monsters.

I think the mom was over compensating because she didn't really raise her or she was more of a friend than parent. But the grandma's strictness, you don't want to be too strict. I don't know. It is not easy raising teens. Despite all that poor baby didn't deserve that. May she rest in peace.

You're doing a good job shedding light on the stories of the victims and remembering these people and the lives they once lived. Bringing attention to the brutality that's often hidden within NY because it happens so frequent it just becomes forgotten. May they R.I.P and their families continue healing 😢❤️‍🩹

The mother is to blame as well.. that little girl needed a FULL-TIME mother... NOT A PART-TIME MOTHER THAT SPENT HER TIME GETTING HIGH! MAYBE THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED HAS SHE JUST KEPT HER ASS OUT OF DRUGS BUT IT'S OBVIOUS DRUGS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN HER DAUGHTER SO I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT HER TEARS

Sheinna would be a year older than me if she was still here. So sad to think about how much life she's missed out on. She never got the chance to grow, mature and learn from the stupid mistakes we all make in our teens, a lot of us had complete freedom back then, we didn't live life through social media like teens do today. I just hope she's at peace now.
