@@AntonioGarcia-jj7pr It really isn't. Sorry. I have these types of violins pass through my shop every week (ever since 2013). Even pictures tell me everything. Nothing Italian about this except that perhaps Paolo Testore made violins that looked a little like this... except that the age is very telling. The varnish in a Testore is glowing.. even with dents and scratches and such. The edges on a Testore might be worn away, but it a very charming way and the edges get a sort of shimmering grey colour with slight dents (smaller dents than on the front). Many more things would point towards Italian. I hope you didn't spend more than 300 euros/ 220 USD on this violin.

If that was a strat , you wouldn't be carrying it in a 15.00 case. From the video I can tell it's a copy of a stratuverus, look at the build quality ($75.00) Ebay tops

No tengo mucho conocimiento del violin, mi abuelo me contó q su papá d mi abuelo se lo compro a un viejito q toda su vida lo tuvo más no se , y pues mi abuela se lo quebró a mi abuelo x andar d canijo y pues ellos mismos lo pegaron , son mariachis y a ellos les vale q sea buen violin o malo ellos nomas sacan pa comer .

No, no es sino una copia. La madera de la espalda es barata, no es atigrada, flameada, de arce, lo mismo que los lados. Tiene una grieta. No tiene encanto. Sin embargo, bueno para comenzar.

Yep, typical Stradivarious with a pressed top; look at the lack of edge fluting, the fake perfling, and no good side shot of the peg box where the replaced, longer non-Baroque neck would be joined. But then again, who would carry a million dollar instrument in a fifty dollar case.

This is not one of the really good wood Strad copies. Immediately, the poor quality, very coarse-grained spruce is obvious. A poor craftsman can ruin good materials, but poor materials will influence the final result. Yes, one can get worse from China, but one can also get MUCH better from China.

@@VicariousAdventurer siento q el trabajo q le dio el abulo,mi abuela se lo quebro en la cabesa a mi abuelo x andar con las concubinas se lo reparo un amigo sin conocimiento en un pueblo q no hay lutieres mi abuelo solo lo queria pegado para seguir tocando y ganar para el pan ami abuelo le balia pura de arabe si era bueno o no en esos tiempos no havia informacion del instrumento y es hay donde le pusieron diapason y alos lados quedo mal pegado, pero asi haun la historia q lleva lo ase grande, pero yo entiendo q la gente dara su punto de vista y las rrespeto, si dices q bale mi violin pura de africano pues es ora de abentarlo ala basura
