I have been using the shampoo and conditioner bar for about 3 weeks. My hair is just about the same length as yours. I really have found it much easier to comb my hair out after washing/conditioning. My hair feels much softer and cleaner than when I was using standard commercial shampoos/conditioners. SO far I really like Viori and ordered several of the new product coming out yesterday/today. I also bought two of the bamboo holders and will condition them with Olive oil before use.

I’ve been using this product for 5 months now and have to say, that I’ve experienced baby hairs growing like crazy around my forehead as well. Not only that but my hair is so much thicker than it was. Also, I just wanted to add that I had a baby 6 months ago and probably around 2 months he started to develop cradle cap. I literally tried every shampoo that is meant to treat it but nothing helped. The only thing that did help was, Viori ♥️. Not only that his hair has been growing back like crazy due to him losing most of it to cradle cap.

Hey Lulu! I really think you sold me on this video! Amazing job. I did want to mention something I saw in your video. As someone with curly hair, when I see you roughly scrubbing your ends of your hair and not even at the root, it might just be situational but I'd advise you to shampoo at the roots first. Then, let the shampoo glide down your hair.

But hey, if you're seeing results, you do you boo! ❤

Hi Chandler, so I used your method of application last night and I think it's a better way of doing it. There's less scrubbing as you said since the crown provides that solid surface for the bar to rub against. Appreciate the suggestion! I just released another follow-up video and I mentioned that method of application. ;)

It does, doesn't it!! :) Just make sure to rinse everything off really well, otherwise, you'll have a bit of a buildup. 👍
@super_siri3 жыл бұрын
It lathers really well. I put a little conditioner on my very dry ends while I'm shampooing, and only wash my scalp, but I work it down and rinse everything out, and then use the conditioner. I find the conditioner very difficult to use for a couple reasons, it's slippery, and I don't think it actually gives enough moisture to my very dry ends (I desperately need a hair cut). I rub in the conditioner carefully on the ends over one shoulder and then I rub some in my hands to just get a little layer on my scalp, since I don't need much conditioner there. I've cut down my washing to twice a week. I couldn't do once a week, my hair got too oily and three times a week left my ends just so dry. I try not to pull my hair up at all anymore as that promotes tangles, and I really try not to rub my hair together either. I use a microfiber rectangular towel to wrap my hair before I pull it up on top of my head to cover all of it with a turbie twist. This helps pull a lot of water from my hair gently without twisting my hair up at all.

You're welcome Lovable Passion! My fave is the citrus one! 😀 Ok, so I'd say let your holders dry out as much as possible (out in the sun if you're lucky to be in the South). That's probably going to take a good 2-3 days as there are some crevices where the water might have been absorbed and will take a little longer to dry out completely. Then follow the steps to cure.

@lcmojo3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rosa, to answer your question, both. There's a video Viori made that covers the topic and I also had some knowledge regarding this process. So, wood is a natural porous material that changes through time. Curing it with oil can prevent water absorption. Food-graded mineral oil is also a popular choice used for wooden kitchen items such as wooden spoons, bowls, and cutting boards.

Did you order the bamboo holder separately? I didn't get one with my order and ifk how to store them safely
@lcmojo3 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes, you have to add the bamboo holders to your 🛒. :( For the time being if you have a bowl or a little plate wide enough to hold these bars, go ahead and use them. They will dry just fine on them. The bamboo holders certainly make a nice addition to complete the whole Viori bars experience but in my eyes they don't contribute to the drying phase. ;) They will dry just fine without them. Just an fyi I don't store them in the shower to prevent mold from growing inside my bamboo containers.

Do you know if it helps restore natural color and get rid of gray hair?
@lcmojo3 жыл бұрын
Hi Roxanna, some customers have said in their reviews that it did help delay (not prevent) the growth of gray/white hair. I think it's a mix bag as far as who it helped and didn't help. I don't have colored hair at the moment (used to) but I can tell you it gave my hair a new kind of shine.

Mold
@bms2952 жыл бұрын
I just bought both shampoo and conditioner bars 2 months ago, and their bamboo holders. About a week ago, my holders started to produce mold. And within a day it was infested with mold. I didn’t know I was suppose to cure it. So I had to throw them away because “health hazard”. And now my conditioner bar is starting to produce mold. Idk what or why. I’ve had the bars before and no issue but now I have the unscented ones and they are growing mold. I’m just curious as to if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s the product. I really hope it’s not the product because Viori has worked wonders on my hair and growth.

Hi Brianna, ooo that doesn't good. Sorry to hear this! That hasn't happened to me. Do you keep your holders inside the 🚿 by any chance? In my part 2 video I recommend not to even if the holders are cured. I would advise you reach out to Viori's customer service. I hear they're pretty good with following up with customers and assisting them with issues. 😉

If you do, I would recommend using the food-grade mineral oil. ;) It'll prevent wood from cracking, drying, rotting. Just an fyi, I like to keep my bamboo containers away from the shower. I don't store them there to prolong their life and prevent mold buildup.

Me: sitting here it helps with my baby hairs bc not only are the greyest part now, they've always been frizzy and dry no matter what I do. Its been worse after I just used a paraben/sulfate free shampoo that CHEMICALLY burned my hair. do u have to cure the holder ?
@lcmojo3 жыл бұрын
Hi Liliya, you don't really have to if you keep the holder(s) outside of your shower. Wood is very good at absorbing water and quite susceptible to mold growth. I keep mine on the bathroom counter rather than in the shower but still opted to cure them since that entire space is generally a moist environment. When it's time for me to use the bars to clean my hair, I'll set the holders on my hamper and bring it close to the shower door, so that as soon as I'm done using them, I can put them right back into their holders. As far as drying them out, I like to leave the bamboo holders uncovered (I keep the top cover to the side and put it back the next day since the bars tend to dry fast).

Hi Jennifer! In my view, the bar has cleansed my hair really well and gotten rid of any oil residue or products I apply to my hair. My hair feels really clean after each use. I know that the Terrace Garden and Hidden Waterfall bars are designed for dry to normal hair. I got the citrus bar not only because I love fresh scents but also because I tend to have oily hair and this one takes care of that type of hair. ;)

Just hopped out of the shower after trying these. ZERO stars. I lathered and lathered their were only 3 bubbles in my hands. Tried again and again to work a lather in my hands. NO LUCK. Finally gave up and ran the shampoo bar through my hair. Got a little later but not enough for a good clean. Rinsed, repeated. Ran the conditioner over my lengths only. Washed it all out (by then my shower water was COLD this is how long I tried to get a lather with the soap!). My hair still felt dirty. YUK. I had to grab my other shampoo in a non-earth friendly bottle to FINALLY get clean hair as I stood in freezing cold water. NOT HAPPY. Put this stuff in a normal bottle and I'll buy it. If I hadn't grabbed my normal shampoo my hair would look like I was wearing a dead cat on my head. Earth friendly should also be user friendly. If you have HARD water good luck trying to get suds!!!
