I've tested the closed beta of GT Sport, so these are my *first impressions* for the moment: - Graphically amazing. In this game you can see the full potential of your PS4. Solid 60fps. - Physics: A (little) improvement from GT6. That confirms the arcade-sim nature of the series. Some will appreciate the nice physics model (especially with street legal cars), the others who expected big changes in this area, will be disappointed. - The sounds: I have just 3 cars in my code. A mustang (very nice sound!), an Impreza (sounds decent only on the cockpit view), and a Renault RS01 (good but it could be better). - Servers: A closed beta, so, some problems to connect to a race, a bit laggy (from my experience).

most of all modern cars which were designed as "sport" got sequential dual clutch transmission - there is no human being who can changes gears using traditional manual transmission with clutch pedal as fast as Sequential ...

If you know already you are going to use both a lot on racing sims, yes. Otherwise, if you are a "casual" racer, stay with your original T300.

Sometimes I use 3rd view camera (outside) to show better the race for the viewers of my videos. Of course, the most realistic is the cockpit camera. In my case, the best camera for the best performance is the car-roof camera.

I don't know the differences between the G25 and the G27 since I had just the G27. The G25 is older. I can just say the G27 (and the G29 which is basically the same) is a very nice wheel.

Why you ask if you don't have Assetto corsa anymore ? x) In AC folder you have a ''Server'' folder with an AC server .exe. You can edit your own server for free. (Not sure if it answer your question x))

In terms of graphics I prefer GT Sport. In terms of physics I can't answer for the moment: I've tested just the beta version of GT Sport (and it has a nice physics model). I'm waiting Project CARS 2 (it will be released soon).

Si tu ne fais pas de talon-pointe dans les voitures à *propolusion*, les roues arriéres peuvent se bloquer à cause du frein-moteur quand tu changes de vitesse. Imagine de tirer le frein a main avant un virage... c'est plus ou moins le même effet. Le talon pointe sert à eviter ce blocage. Par contre il est utile seulement dans la conduite sportive, pas besoin de l'utiliser en ville! ;-)

Non, dans les tractions on a pas ce genre de probléme. Géneralement, dans la vraie vie on utilise le talon-pointe aussi pour accompagner les tours minute du moteur, ce qu'on appelle le rev matching en anglais, pour éviter des chocs à la transmission. Donc cette technique est utile dans toutes les type de voitures (traction, propulsion et intégrale), mais dans les propulsions elle a cette double fonction.

Hey viper, I like how you're driving and have been subbed for a while. I'm buying a new wheel since my old Formula Force EX broke lol. So I'm basically on the fence between Thrustmaster TMX (or T150) and G29. Do tell, do t3pa pro pedals feel somewhat plasticy in terms of build quality or are they real aluminum? If I was to buy TMX or T150 i'd get new set of pedals in the summer. Possibly T3PA(pro?) + TH8A shifter. What do you think is better?

The pedals of my T500 (i guess it's the T3PA you're talking about) are 100% metal. The G29 is a great steering wheel: great sensations (even with this steering wheel you can feel every bump on the trackon some games), but there's too much plastic on it. The TH8A is better (and way more expensive) than the G29 H-shifter in terms of realism. So it depends mostly from your budjet.

Start without driving assist with cars with no more than 250 hp. Keep practicing until you master the physics. When you'll feel ready, set your limit to 300hp cars. Then 350... ;-)

Jahron Prince I think that in terms of value for money assetto corsa is better than project cars but it really depends on whether or not you want a hardcore racing sim (AC) or an easier, less brutal sim (P:C)

The game runs actually at 60fps. The ps4 recorder records at 30. My video editor exports the video at 50fps (I don't know why), but at the end the video is 30.

Sorry to butt in, just recently found Vipers channel (really enjoying it BTW) and saw this thread in the comments, and figured I would add my 2 cents for one area where much improvement could be found. Ideally on corners where Viper does not need to change down gears, they should be aiming to use their left foot to brake with. This gives the added benefit of been able to take a smoother line thought corners, and keep the car more balanced and stable throughout. This can allow the driver to take more speed though a corner as well, due to better access to the available traction. The left foot braking technique can be used in any layout of car, but it will really come into its on with regards to AWD, and especially FWD cars, as when used correctly you can rotate the car better through tighter corners. So that is one place they can improve upon.
