their is no way that whale survived, you can see at the end when it is diving down, and starts to go a little ways away from the main rope, and you can literally see that its still extremely tight around the jaw when the whale pulls away, which just makes the jaw stretch to lengths it shouldn't be, you can see how bad it is right at the end the jaw was almost at an 90° angle, it would essentially be impossible for that rope to magically get off on its own, shame on the people who lied and upload this anyway trying to make it seem like they did good.

If that rope magically untangled itself "minutes later" wouldn't they put that on the film too? Or wouldn't they at least put the rope on the boat and snap a photo? Because these guys needed to film their good deed sooooo bad that one of them sat back a filmed it, rather than help himself. Why wouldn't they add the ending? Oh yeah, because it never happened.

Maybe it is a good thing the boat did spoke it to dive. That gave the rope the slack it needed to come the rest of the way lose. The timing use just right any sooner and it would not have been cut enough to come lose like it did. I am glad for what the diver did..
