8:32 This does my head in on the flights to SFO. The usual travel advice is get on to the destination timezone as soon as you're on board.. yet you're being plunged into darkness at 10am 😅

Yeah, it's really annoying, we get it all the time on SF flights, we try and push through so we don't wake up at 3am the morning after, but they try everything they can to get you off to sleep on the flight! It was the same when we flew in upper class!

@@Yourusacityguide I was in UC last time I flew and came up with a solution of sorts. I asked the cabin crew if I could pop to the galley area every now and then to look out of the window 😂 They were quite happy with this as seemingly everyone else was zonked out, and I ended up having a chat with the first officer which was fun as he seemed to like using the front galley as a break area.

Hi virgin cancelled our flight to Miami so we had to fly to Orlando and then fly to Miami it was a nightmare we went on a old A300 in premium class then we went on a Very old A319 with Delta we few back to LHR from Miami on a 787 the premium class was very good would do it again enjoy your flight when you go

As annoying as things like that are, its usually for broken plane reasons and obviously it's better to not take any risks, but its still a shame your original flight was cancelled. Connections are a pain and those older A330's virgin uses are pretty tired, glad you enjoyed your fight home however Thanks for your feedback Steve

Am thinking of buying premium for nonstop flight from LAX to London. 10 hours and i think it's worth it since we will be sleeping most of the time Wondering if there is a different airline youd recommend?

Virgin still tends to be the airline of choice for us, especially for the longer West Coast Destinations. BA has been getting some really bad press as of late, and we will be checking them out soon. Delta actually offers a really good premium on it's transatlantic routes but we find availability is not as good. This means we always tend to just find ourselves booking Virgin. 10 hours is a really long time to spend cramped up in economy, and the upgrade really does make that time a lot easier with much better sleep opportunities Have a great flight
