You are in the sweet part of fly way. I grew up in Duluth shot lots grouse a good amount of ducks mostly mallards and real but nothing like you have with ducks. Great videos God's blessings to you young man🕊🙏😇

I was recently duck hunting and when i was driving to another lake i saw a grouse sitting on a log, pulled my truck up 50 yards and scrummaged through my truck looking for something blaze orange. Found 2 new harbor freight rachet straps and wrapped them around my torso. Went back to the log and it had flown away. Walked through the woods some more but never saw it

Great hunt but hiding in 8 ft. Tall grass kinda hindered your shooting. Out here in oregon we have tons of grouse in the mountains. We shoot em on gravel roads while deer hunting. Way to steep to walk. We have the big blue grouse also. Both great eating. Thanks. Really enjoy your videos.

I appreciate it! I think the best bet for filming duck hunts is to just start out with a GoPro or two. I would go with a Hero 10 and then just buy 4-5 batteries and two Sandisk 256GB sd cards. That will allow you to film the whole hunt without having to try to turn the camera on and off. If you're phone has a good camera on it you could certainly use that to get some footage as well

The sun wasn't forecasted to come out which was why we were sitting on that side to start. I thought those taller trees would help to hide us some but I'm not sure how much they really did

Man I wouldn’t have set up in all those trees and ducks would rather fly on a cloudy overcast day than a blue bird day you always see more ducks on a overcast with wind but we hunt ducks a little different down here in Louisiana and Iv noticed yall shoot a lot of big ducks at the beginning of plumage by they time we get to hunt big ducks most are in full plumage and we try not to shoot any spoonbills they arnt good to eat from around here from all the saltwater fish they eat they will stink up your whole house cooking them the only time there decent is if there around a lot of fresh water and they’ve been around that fresh water for a while but we have both so close Iv never seen one good to eat
