If Ocean Colour Scene were from Manchester, London, Liverpool or any other part of Britain rather than my home city of Birmingham then they would have gotten more recognition for sure. They give Oasis and the Verve a run for their money any day of the week! Mosely Shoals is a top draw album!

Well, no they wouldn’t. Ocean Colour Scene where a v good band, but because they are not from the said city’s doesn’t detract away from them, or add to their ranking. UB40 are from Birmingham and they got the recognition because they where absolute class. The Verve are from Wigan, that didn’t affect there recognition and Oasis where in another league than OCS. Anyway, brilliant band nevertheless and this is one of their brilliant tracks.
