I must thank to MTV Brazil to let me know this amazing band. Once I've heard the riverboat song, around my 15 years, it caught me lightspeed. I had to import moseley shoals, as no local seal brought this album to Brazil in those days.

My favourite band of the 90's and the original version of the day we caught the train on the album mosley sholes was my favourite song. He had a tremendous voice and they had many great songs. Oasis and the Verve were class too, but there was something about his voice that I loved, plus everyone else was Oasis supporters and I was pretty rebellious and although I loved Oasis too, I stand by Ocean Colour Scene as my favourite. We some magnificent bands in the 90's and we were extremely lucky to witness them. The stone roses were amazing and class but they were out a little earlier, and Primal Scream were class as well, we were spoiled for choice of great music in the late 80's and 90's

Steve is amazing now on the guitar. Every note is the best it can be. Simon sounds good - huskier but the best singer I've seen live easily.
@rockywaters95923 жыл бұрын
Steve has always got better on guitar, vocally too, he puts in a great shift no matter what. Can't say the same for Jim Davidso...I mean Simon Fowler, his voice is awful here imo, it's understandable that huskiness will come with age, but man there was a lot of flat notes and he really struggled with power.

@@tonymorph3672 loved 96, I saw ocean colour scene support oasis at Maine road in what was a legendary gig. Euro 96 bought the country together, every night 😊seemed balmy, Manchester (where I’m from) was buzzing still and there was a sense of hope in the air. Oh how, as a country,we could do with a bit of that now.
