Some people have said different health but that slows down this VERY fast-paced game and limits the skill cap for the very top player that learn very difficult to execute or niche combos, to maximize their average damage output.

Prof Tricky, it is such a gift getting to hear your analysis, e.g. the strength of Akira in forcing the guess between dash elbow & guard break, Taka (not Goh or Wolf) being the real throw problem because forward head crush throw & back stomach punch > head butt > no more health for you and/or ring out, etc etc etc. As a VF player seeking better base-line understand of the primary strengths/weaknesses of the full cast, this was massively helpful info. I would like to see some sort of ring out tech save in the next VF, especially for the lighter, more nimble characters. It doesn't make sense that some characters can do crazy acrobatics using the walls but they can't pull themselves up from a ledge.

Honestly this is a good representation of the tier list of this game. Like sure, Akira and Jackie are at the top, but all the characters are so close, that pulling a tier list in this game is really tough. Also Aoi, El Blaze and Lei Fei maybe bottom. But MAN do they look good when you pull off their moves

There's a best of 50 set with Homestay vs You (Sarah), where You wins. I trust your thoughts on Sarah, but that anomalous set does raise a few questions. May just go to show how great of a player that You is, and maybe the lack of (forgive me if I'm wrong) great Sarah's in other regions.

She was due to her weight and risk reward for her tools. Nobody knows now

@@TrickyEileen Yep. Her dedicated high/mid/low counters need to do WAY more damage. Counters are supposed to be her whole deal, but they're hardly ever worth using. You have to guess the level and the timing, and you get hit if you guess wrong. And even when they do hit, they do less damage than almost all of her throws, even her regular neutral throw.
