Thanks for being real about the housing costs. I've lived here for 30+ years. Never get tired of the views, the weather, and just the feel of the place. There's a hill crest about a mile west of my house that affords a view from Wyoming to Mt Evans on a clear day 😁

I lived there in the late 70's. It's still beautiful, but way more traffic and much more expensive. I'm thinking maybe a better place for us aging hippies would be Eugene or Arcata.

My family are currently in Dallas Texas. I am from the gulf of Mexico / south padre but have been in Dallas for roughly 15 years. We are trying to decide on kicking back to the beach or the mountains. Because I'm use to a warmer climate, i really need something visually amazing to endure the cold. We are kinda leaning more towards Boulder but since we have no family in the area and 5 kids its hard to get up there and explore for the perfect place, so I'm wondering if you have any ideas. We are wanting something very scenic, priced well ( 5 kids) lol. Myself and my oldest son are also both musicians, and like the city feel, so living more in nature but not far from being able to drive and see concerts and night life in the city

Most of the winter it's 50s or 60s during the day. 20s at night. But not too bad honestly. Worth it.

Thank you for the video! Trying to get some insight about Boulder. Possibly relocating from MN, and wanted to see if you know of any Spanish immersion schools for ages 4 and up? And what one can expect for a family of 4 with an income roughly at $110k/yr starting? And Possibly the ideal place to live while starting out in Boulder? I thank you in advance, and hopefully reach out down the road.

do help with rentals?
@welcometodenver2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately there’s not really a place for real estate agents to fit into the rental picture to help tenants/renters. Typically, a renter will work directly with a landlord/property management company.

Can you create a video of how much it is to live in Boulder?
@welcometodenver3 жыл бұрын
Yeah we can do that! It is VERY similar to our cost of living in Denver, with the big difference being home and rental prices! They’re considerably higher in Boulder!

@@asajayunknown6290 Sounds like you will need to make around $500,000 to live in Boulder if the average home is $1.4m. But I meant, where do school teachers, police, fire and nurses live. A city that makes these people commute into the city because they cant afford to live is not only environmentally wrong but socially wrong.

@@Brockdorf Condos, older tinier places built before 1980, and commutes from Lafayette, Louisville, Broomfield, Westminster. And yes, you are correct, Boulder likes to put on a smiley face about being all eco-friendly, but the practical application thereof leaves much to be desired. The bus system around Boulder is great, but it's mainly used by the college students. Public transit is "beneath" people with Master's and Doctorates😜

@@Brockdorf One thing he didn't mention is that Boulder is mostly transplants, first or second generation. Which means that most of the people that live there are outgoing, and will be friendly and accommodating. The few locals that are still around hate it, but a big part of what makes Boulder great is that no one feels like they "own" it, by virtue of being born and raised there.

Hahahahahahaha... I lived in Boulder when we refurbished mansions of Mapleton, "NoBo" was dirt roads, they just put in the mall on Pearl from 9th to 15th, and saw B.B.King at Tulagi's on the Hill. Even then homes were going for $500K up by Chautauqua Park. Table Mesa and Four Mile canyon we considered suburbs. They had the longest-standing "Red Barn" on Canyon and Boulder H.S. was the only H.S. And cuz of all the license plates Boulder's alias was Little California. Hahaha, and by the 80s Gentrification was all white folks.
