Thanks, Alex. Very interesting collection spanning many years. My interests lie in the 17th and 18th centuries so I'm all about the Hapsburgs/Holy Roman Empire. Great to see items from those periods. My wife was in Vienna last year. Now it's my turn.

Oh Vienna. "Stolzes Wien." A very nice and informative tour! My favorit: the automobile with it´s bullt hole.. writing a bitter history.

Great tour of one of the best museum in Europe 👍 . I have visited this museum twice, once with my late father (who served in Austria with the RAF, in the 1950,s, under Soviet occupation) and in 2019, the displays and staff are excellent and helpful. Thanks Alex for a brilliant tour, I bet you got loads more pictures of the Napoleonic period and the great war 🤓📷👏

Thanks for that mate. This museum has long been on my list of places to visit and I should probably tick it off sooner rather than later. How does it compare in size to the Musee de l'Armee and as I'll probably be in it all day, does it have a café ?

No worries. I've not been in the Musee De L'Armee, so I can't compare, but you'll spend a good day in here and yes it does have a cafe, although it's not very big...
