no option worked for me. I am still searching ways to resolve the issue

I have heard this works: For Microsoft Windows 10 Pro & above: Edit group policy (gpedit) Go to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System Double Click on Device Guard on the right hand side to open. Double Click on "Turn On Virtualization Security" to open a new window It would be "Not Configured", Select "Disable" and click "Ok" Close the Group Policy Editor. Restart the system

Just tried and unfortunately not working for me either - I'm running Windows 11 Enterprise 22H2, and VMware Workstation 17 Pro. Already have Hyper-V uninstalled - not showing on "Turn Off Optional Windows Features", Core Memory Isolation have been turned off, and I've tried both the bcdedit command on Command Prompt and the Powershell, both run as admin, and output was successful, and rebooted laptop, still having same issue about VTX / EPT not supported on this platform. My laptop is a Dell 7760. Any ideas? Thanks

Check if Windows Sandbox is enabled under Windows Features. Also check if you have any other virtualization software like VirtualBox installed.

Thanks for the tips. Have checked and Windows Sandbox is disabled - are you saying I should have it enabled? I don't have any other virtualisation software installed, i.e. no VirtualBox etc. I'm running Windows 11 Enterprise tho if that makes any difference? Thanks.

Yes, Sandbox, Windows Subsystem for Linux, Virtual Machine Platform, Hyper-V should be DISABLED, and Virtualization Support should be ENABLED in BIOS. I haven't used Windows 11 Enterprise, but I think it should work. In VMware Workstation 17 Pro, for the virtual machine giving the error, go to "Edit virtual machine settings" >> "Processors" then disable "Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMB-V/RVI". If the tick is greyed out, click "Options Tab" >> "Advanced" and in "Settings" untick "Enable VBS (Virtualization Based Security) support". Go back to the "Hardware Tab" >> "Processors" then the greyed-out tick for "Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMB-V/RVI" should now be functional i.e., not greyed out, then untick. Let me know if this works.

Wow thank you Sir for taking the time to reply to my message and privde assistance. In any case I was researching the same issue and came across a post elsewhere which prompted my to try - that is to restart my laptop, get into BIOS then disable Virtualisation (it had been enabled). Boot back into Windows, login, then starts away restart and get into BIOS and re-enable virtualisation. Restart, log back into Windows again, and upon re-enabling Virtualisation it worked! I did hear something this VT-X thingy and Hyper-V is tricky - I may have disabled it after installing VMware Workstation Pro which for some people doesn't work - apparently some people needed to have Hyper-V disabled PRIOR to installing VMware. I'm glad that for my case at lease the BIOS toggle seemed to have done the trick and I don't have to go through the pain of unistalling VMware Workstation and reinstalling it again. Thanks for your help though - really apprecitae it!

Are you running Power Shell and Command Prompt as Administrator accordingly? Are you getting any errors when you run any of the commands? Is Memory Integrity disabled?
