I went to Japan last december. The respect the people have for others and the cleanliness really stood out. Also felt very safe.

The thing that always strikes me about these Japan walking around videos is when you see small children just walking around unattended. It's so safe that people don't worry about letting their kids walk around, like how American cities used to be in the 50s. Must be nice to be able to enjoy all the benefits of a big city without the crime, trash, and homeless people everywhere.

36:48 my old apartment is right behind the green lights. 3.5 years of adventure in my 20s that I remember fondly. Living below the poverty line was very tough in that city, but being surrounded and constantly artistically inspired by the vibrance was worth it.

Nostalgic. Used to walk those streets in the day and night time when I lived there. It is very safe and everyone is respectful. Kind of help clears the head after a busy day of work just to walk those streets.

Such a treat walking down any of those streets and all the pleasant little businesses and other hidden treasures you get to see and not a single worry of getting brutally mugged or stabbed just for wondering around at night. Tokyo is amazingly safe and clean.

@Roy Rogers very untrue. Those cities are very unsafe. Someone is always getting mugged or robbed, there are just so many people that it is unlikely to happen to you specifically.

I saw this video and I felt nostalgic. I can't be there and I can't go there. I used to walk a lot around Tokyo streets just like this video, observing people and daily life. But first things first. Once covid is over I will be back in Japan for good. I love Japan my heart is beating there..

Since i am 13 years old (now rockin mid 40s) i wanted to travel to japan. And this vid made me appreciate it more. So clean everybody respects each other! So polite so perfect and visualy pleasing. Jaymz Cheong You could teach there, but the visa requirement for teaching is you have to have had studied in a country for 12 years of the language you wish to teach. In other words, if you want to teach English that means your home country’s main language should be English.

Jaymz Cheong You could do photography if a company hires you, but 99% of companies will only hire people who are already living in Japan. In other words, in order to enter the country and live there your best bet would be to enter as a student first.

Haha I love this. It reminds me of when I was living in Shinjuku, and everytime after a night out in Shibuya, I had to walk from Shibuya to Shinjuku because the train didn't go during night hours, always half drunk, brings so many memories back

Wow that was a busy place to eat where you walked through at the beginning of the video as I didn't know you would make it out of their alive :) You keep a great pace when your walking as it was a good walk as other video's I saw of Shibuya and Shinjuku never shown how fare they are apart till you walked it . As well your retail shops are huge compare to ours as I shoot retail display I would take 1000's of images if I was in Tokyo
