"My collection is close to the end!" ha ha . . . seven years later in 2017 Dr. Wako's knife collection has grown exponentially! A true knife looney if I have ever seen one. I would love to see a current interview with your lovely bride as to her thoughts on your knife collection, and other hunting and fishing past times, as well as your "garage bushcraft."

Thanks for posting. I live in a tiny apartment in a big city and can relate to your room there and how you have piles of things strewn about. It is good to have at least one room where you don't care how things appear, and then keep the rest of the home in good order. :)

Wako, that is a very wonderful room full of things that I love. In American Slang, we call this kind of room a "Man Cave" lol. Thanks for posting. I have to persuade my wife to redecorate our room in this style!

Hello, Wako..I was just wondering if your feelings for the Emerson mini commander has changed, i have.not seen you use it in your most recent videos...i i have the cqc8, it is more of a tactical knife then a hunter, due to the blade shape, i do like it however, very sharp chisel grind..Thanks alot...Oh hope your knee heals well, and maybe some more deer meal videos now that your hunting season is over for awhile..Take Care

@SIG551P Yes, I always wear camouflage military shirts and military OD green or desert tan T shirts. I showed you all my collection of camouflage outfits. But I have many pieces of German one. 12 long sleeves, 2 short sleeves, and 4 no sleeves. I cut off the sleeves myself. They fit my body perfectly, and I love their chest pockets and air inlets at armpits. I love their camouflage pattern and German flags on upper arms very much. I always wear German one in hunting because of their utility.

Yes. I have been owning Yaesu FT2000 for around 8 years. I like its clear sound and its analog design very much. Its power is only 100W and my rooftop antenna is poor, so I enjoy only domestic communication. I like 7, 21, 50 MHz ( 40, 15, 6 m). Now in summer 50MHz can reach 3000km as if it was 2m FM handy transceiver. Thanks.

Where do you buy your camouflage from?
@virtuovice12 жыл бұрын
No, I haven't. We have only Sika deer here. I guess the antlers of the white tail deer will need a different skull cut to make a good wall hanger from it. Thanks.

@hollowayjarvis the Bravo 1 was too heavy for me to carry around and its jimped ramp was too painful for my thumb to cut into the flesh. So I have already sold out two of them from my collection, and I have now two pieces of F1, which is one of the best hunting knives I believe. Though the Bravo 1 is one of the toughest survival blades, no doubt. Thanks.

@SIG551P Thank you for your information. I checked it out from my favorite military surplus web shop, and I will get it for this deer season. It is a jacket and has a lining cloth. It is a rare item in Japan and very cool. It has two diagonal zipper pockets on its chest portion. Thanks!

The point in time I am waiting for is the moment Wako decides that the gun is too easy, too impersonal, to seperated from the hunt. The moment when he will pick up the bow and arrow. The moment where the kill will happen within a distance where the eye will meet the eye, the soul the soul, the life the life, the harvest. ;)
@virtuovice14 жыл бұрын
@SIG551P I got it yesterday which cost me around 70USD. Of which size fits my slim body very well and I love its camouflage pattern and color. Its a very carefully and toughly made jacket. Thank you.

Yes, now with the solar activity peak these contacts on 50 MHz will be an amazing band to work. Also 28 MHz should now be open with amazing reach. I have an old FT747GX, but a lightning damaged it several years ago. I never repaired it. It's in a box awaiting restoration. 73!

hi there I've been watching a number of your video's and I have a curiosity on why you don't have a knife made from one of your legendary knife makers out there. I know that you all take your butcher knives and chef knives or just knives in general like a work of art. thank you and I was just wondering. I'm from the island of guam by the way and you could say I'm a neighbor to you in japan. thanks again and looking forward to opinion.
