The poem in glupak appears to be written by its author. And the reason the autoexec doesn't format the drive is because they used "if errorlevel 0" which means "if errorlevel >= 0", not "if errorlevel == 0" (which is what they want) - so it always jumps to the end message

5:51 As someone from Latin America [Properly Mexico], maybe I can understand this part of the macro. -since for many years especially in all the 90-2000s [and the 2010s pre covid]. It was very common that in public schools of all levels the computer equipment was deplorable. IN FACT IT WAS NOT RARE THAT SCHOOL "COMPUTER CENTERS" MANY TIMES DID NOT EVEN HAVE INTERNET (Because they really did not have it, or the ethernet hub had broken down and there was no one to repair it or they even continued to use dial-up) [many times they were equipment that never received minimal maintenance [and it was very common that the students knew more about PCs than the teachers], they were very slow (if we are talking about something very slow for the XP era) to a fault, or many did not even turn on]. [so it wasn't weird that you had to use the pc in pairs to cover a group]. If your center was updated, you had B/W toner printers. otherwise they were dot matrix [lucky if they had ink] or thermal Yes, thermal printed full o' BPA letter size paper -until 2011 IBM Thinkcenter computers with windows XP were still used (but made for the Win 95-98 era, hopefully some pentium 4 1st gen). It was not uncommon to find viruses in them, or old antiviruses that had not been updated or licensed in a long time (or many times antiviruses that were infected when they were cracked). -It wasn't until around the 2010s when the government finally began to replace computers with Windows Vista and MS Word 2007 [Which was relatively worse, since they were also from a local manufacturer and by then windows 7 was already on the market]. -and by 2016 it was barely beginning to migrate to Windows 7 and Office 2013, and in 2018 to Windows 10 office 2016 (where it seems they will stagnate for another time since the loaner computers migrated to crhomebooks or only pass to MS 365. it is doubtful that they machines support Windows 11.) -So relatively If it weren't for the covid and that Microsoft and developers began to aggressively drop support for previous systems, many Latin American countries would continue to use Windows XP and Word 97-2003 in schools if that sounds archaic, until 2010 many clinics still used typewriters. -- because there really were people who did not know how to use printers, much less maintain them and to "save ink" they only printed headers and the rest was written on a typewriter so as ironic as it may sound, Smooth vandalizing school PCs in the pre 2010's was not uncommon (and relatively the most likely way to force them to fix them, since unless it was a virus or something of interest they just wouldn't do it) and also showing that you could affect the network gave you some "script kiddie-cool kid" status. And there was a possibility that if you knew what to do and how to repair pc's some teachers would allow you to skip some classes and do the work (because they knew that the city administration would not do it for a long time or they would save costs)

Opened KZbin to watch something else and was very excited to see you having uploaded recently, did not disappoint. Watched your videos a long time ago and remembered it fondly, so was happy to see your channel was still alive. Thank you for the upload, I now feel like binge-watching through your stuff I haven't seen, haha. The video was pretty fun - it's very interesting to look at the viruses of old most people wouldn't cover, and you're a good narrator to boot. The captions also brought a smile to my face, bonus points for those. I know it can be disheartening to watch the numbers dwindle, but sometimes not chasing the algorithm and just doing your thing helps build a perhaps smaller, but loyal fanbase. Here's to hoping you will get more folks watching your videos, though - definitely a channel I would and do recommend to others!

I've been watching your videos since I was in my summer of becoming a freshman in high school. Which was 9 years ago. I've enjoyed your content, and learning SO much about different types of computer viruses, from not just you. But from rogueamp. The two of you have helped spark my interest in not just computer viruses, but you've both inspired me with the IT industry. I'm finishing up my college classes in Network+, and I'm going to be taking my A+ exam later this fall. If it weren't for the two of you, I wouldn't have grown an interest in technology. It puts a wide eye grin on my face when I see a new video uploaded from you that demonstrates these viruses, worms, trojans, etc. Keep up the good work, Dan!

He put the name of a girl he like, he could't use "ñ" so the real name is: "Khelia Monica Saldaña Diaz, I like you and I keep searching for you... Where are you hiding?... Your love (1990-1991)" I hope he found her :) It seems he went to the university at middle 90's, so, Informatics careers in Mexico on those years maybe you only can find in schools like UNAM, Politecnico Nacional or Tecnologico de Monterrey, maybe is one od those schools he is talking about.
