One of the best food channels. No bullshit, No fancy "Gordon Ramsay" banne ki koshis, down to earth, practical language and nice, friendly talk. A good way to encourage indian traditions for people abroad too. Hats off sir!

Wow. Your food blogging has reached another level. I absolutely loved this Coorg series. This is a perfect example of food blogging (and not those videos showing food filled with unimaginable cheese or butter). Also sir please visit Mangalore. The traditional Manglorean style cuisine is a treat to the taste buds.

It was a delight watching the non-veg journey of kodagu. And its all about coincidences.. If you hadnt wondered and asked for jam, you might have missed the tastiest combination of all, ie, ghee sugar combo with papputtu. Similarly a morning jog and casual chat led to the special prawns masala. I appreciate your passion to try traditional food on a given area whenever you can. This is definitly one of the best non veg episodes in Visa2explore.

coorgi food is basically warrior food as they are kshatriyas and the food is usually punchy and spicy to adjust to the very cold climate and pork coorgs delicacy kodagu in English is coorg the, lifestyle is very much of a warrior and pandi curry kadambutt is like the primary delicacy for any occasion..Always a proud coorgi...and I'm glad you made this series !

Kachampuli or cocum is a puply fruit, used as a souring agent for cooking and as an alternate for Tamarind in the Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and in the Konkan region of Goa and Maharashtra. This has a good cooling effect on the body and is also a bit more healthier than Tamarind, which is hot in nature. You might have drank cocum juice during your Coastal Karnataka tour in 2020.

There are a very delicious foods of this region is eaten in a very tradition Coorg I Home....dry chicken marinated in hot spices...black pepper and cooked on low fire....with or without gravy to eat with rice....gravies are made with a blending of mangalorean Christian cooking.......Then rice Neera dosa is a delicacy..... and of course marinated pork bits cooked in pepper sauce...served with rice.....the dessert I’d ofcourse payasams or Khmer’s. Each family living on the plantations grow a bread fruit tree....bears fruits twice a year. Fried sliced fritters is adelicacy. Plantains to halva...to fried sweet fritters...with plenty of brown sugar....al grown in the region. A lot of is totally missing.Unique is the state of Karnataka has tremendous scenarios...growth of local grown veggies and fruits and explore... we have eight regions and each has its own charm....Do your own seeking information..before yo make this again.Hope I living abroad for the last have always cooked foods from this region...ofcourse teas and coffees as well.

Commendable efforts considering you predominantly prefer vegetarian food. Liked the video. It only highlights your dedication to explore various foods and and also to make video!! Keep up the good work. And please do not pay attention to people who advise you to not eat specific type of food, they don’t understand that it takes real courage to try new foods! All the best!

so nice of you... great deal of effort yes you are right... i am so glad your words of motivation... so nice... BTW - Would you like to share some inputs on what could have been better in this video, so i get inputs to do my work better.....

visa2explore Hi! You make good videos, I like watching them. Given that I am not in India anymore, I relish them more! Small suggestion from my side, try to study basic cooking ingredients of that region. You’ll be able to explain the dish much better than before. Though I am a doctor, being a foodie, whichever country I reside in, first thing I do is explore their food market to understand basic ingredients that they use in their day to day cooking. It helps me cook various dishes from International cuisines. All the best.

The best accompaniment for Kadumbuttu is Pandi Curry. Individual I think it will not taste better. Sir, Kadumbuttu and kadubu does it taste same? I have tried black pepper chicken it's so simple to make , and always a hit. But no experience about (pork masala) You mentioned home stay foods are only for those who are staying there. How much did you pay for the food same or bit higher( as you are a outsider)? Paputtu looks so yum. Looks very similar as sandwich. Sir how's it tastes (without ghee) ? same as kadubu or different ? Appam I just love to eat. In odisha the dish is being named as (chitau pitha). This Pitha makes its appearance in the Odia homes on the occasion of Chitalagi Amabasya, also known as Chitau Amabasya. Basic ingredients are rice and coconut. Tastes nice if served with chutney or khir (khiri). Mud tawa dosa - Mud tawa enhance the taste of dosa . True this doesn't need oil in the preparation. (Waiting for you in odisha hope you will love exploring the delicacies of Odisha) Coorg seems like heaven for foodies Great coverage on Coorg .

wow great to know that best way to enjoy Kadambuttu is pandi curry....my 1st experience... Kadambuttu and kadubu i guess were different in taste.... back pepper chicken you are right is so much rich taste.... without ghee was fine but moment you add Ghee to Paputtu it tasted so nice... wow Aapam was my 2nd experience, i just tasted it in Mumbai from my team mate's plate... tastes so nice.... Odisha yes i am so keen.. i guess i will be going there before march.....

Hi , i like your video with family every week. I came to Madikeri and based on your suggestion went to Coorg Cuisine. Food was no way like they serve you. Since you are now well known personality, restaurant offer you better food which is not for common man.
