I personally think we will get a pretty emotional scene where Rhaenerya tells Aegon III the prophecy right before she dies, like as they’re getting captured. The weight of the prophecy and knowing he alone has to carry it on will be part of the reason that Aegon III is so depressed, beyond seeing like everyone die of course. Depending on where the show ends, we may see Aegon III pass it onto Viserys II, even though Viserys II was a few kings later. I could see the prophecy ending with him, as maybe he didn’t trust Aegon IV with it or maybe Aegon IV ended the prophecy.

I am sorry but Aemma Arryn didn't just have a bit of Targaryen blood. She was half Targaryen since her mother was princess Daella Targaryen, daugter of king Jaehaery and queen Alysanne.

The maesters are trying to build a world that is not based on magic But there's also no female maesters so there doesn't really need to be a bigger motive than inherent sexism

Paddy’s performance was flawless. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for a king 😅 even though his issues were caused by his own in action. I find the suggestion that his declining health is caused by the iron throne because he is not competent enough to sit it. While it could just be symbolic, I find it interesting that he seemed to not have health issues until he became king and Targaryens are usually pretty resistant to illness
