Viserys Targaryen is one of my favorite character from House of the Dragon Season 1. His overall role is perfect but no matter how many times I re-watch episode 8....I get emotional each and every time. Paddy Considine has done such a wonderful and amazing work for the role of Viserys Targaryen. Thank you.

That poor man... he went through hell. He kept peace, but at the same time he put the seeds of war unknowningly. This is the tragedy of Viserys, who lived under the shadow of more "great" and remarkable kings as Aegon I and Jaehaerys. And yet, for what he was able to, he mantained the stability of the realm. HE was a good king however like Ned stark he was so naive ! He treated his brother badly while he trusted the hightowers in his court whispering poison in his ears. They never wanted Viserys and Daemond to work together because they would have fought anything in their ways. Viserys deserved better and so did Daemond and both of them ended up regretting being distant from each other
