You know? They say that everything that you project into the universe will like project back. So before I was more negative, i had more anxiety, i was a kind of depressed because i wasnt happy with my situation, and with the world around me. So one day I decided to just try to be positive and see myself and the others around me as energy and love. And since that day ive been happier, ive been feeling more in peace with myseld and everything and everyone around me. Even the toxic people i had in my life. This is my experience with chanelling love. Koi you're totally right about that one!! You all should really try it. The universe is not against you ☀❤

I see self love as giving yourself the support and validation that you wish other people had given you(but never did), especially your parents, or the authority figure in your life whom you trusted. Don't wait on others, do it yourself, have your own back. You will love it.

I think people should be watching this video regularly as a reminder of who we really are! I've been struggling on this topic for a while. I've forgotten that I am not just my ego. My ego has enveloped and consumed me. That has made it difficult for this version of me to let go of the pettiness of life around us and just exist. Thank you for reminding me of the pure beauty of existence.

I've always struggled with my self image, thinking that if I hated myself then I was humble and if I loved myself then I was egotistical. after 21 years one learns that this mindset doesn't make you happy and it even negatively affects your relationships. I've always believed in a cosmic Oneness but what you've helped me realize is that I've always seen myself as separate and that I took my idea of myself too seriously. from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this new insight, I feel it will really help along my path. 🙏

I want to thank you Vishiddha Das for making this video. I'm mostly unfamiliar with the teachings of Hinduism, as I was brought up as a Catholic and, besides being raised by my grandma- from age eleven on. A part of my childhood was deeply abusive, traumatic & dysfunctional. At 29 years I'm in therapy, and with as much "progress I've made." I'm also just starting to recognize how much I struggle with loving myself. I'm on a quest to find something beyond the hum-drum pecularities of Christianity (particularly Catholicism) that I struggle with. I just want to say that, I always learn something from you. You're very inspiring, thank you. What I interpreted love to be- from the Catholic faith I was taught. That I hold onto for dear life at times, could be summed up in John 15:9-14. To love is to know & be known. To love is to will the good of the beloved. And like any choice, love is not only an affirmation- but also a negation. I don't mean to mix up religious teachings in any, annoying way for you: "oh no that Christian person be preaching in my comments." Lol. In short, it may not be the same religious expression, but I hear alot of parallels- what you've said I hadn't realized and it deeply resonates. In my activism work which I'm most passionate about- my writing. I've always been like: "pffft, screw materialism." But I do see where those thoughts sink into too, without my knowing... There are, way to many "I,I,I's" on this comment, it's late. Again, thank you for what you do. It's something the world needs. All the best to you.

I have learnt Self Love is a NECESSARY #illusion that's meant to show you that you ARE Love itself... Once you realise you Are love itself you find that you don't NEED to try Love yourself. Here is an analogy: The sun (love) needs not try warm itself (self love) for it IS warmth (love). You can either choose to #BE love itself or #DO love to self: please note that doing is trying and trying is failing to BE... Your choice creates your experience: You can choose to either TRY to Love Yourself 😚😊(which in essence is like a dog chasing it's own tail not realising the tail is itself) OR #BECOME Love itself❤ (Dog realising the tail is itself thus stops chasing it)... One is #DOING the other is #BEING. You can only pick 1 at a time. Trying to love yourself is like trying to be Yourself, it's a paradox. True Being is effortless (power), self love is effort (force).

Very true Koi. If I know I am doing everything I can to the best of my ability, then that is meant to be. If my efforts were not enough to accomplish a task and yet I tried my hardest, then I was meant to fail. And I was meant to learn a lesson from that fail. I must accept that fail, accept my weaknesses. And if my efforts were enough for me to accomplish a task, then I have succeeded in that task, but that success does not define my self worth. My weaknesses and strengths should not dictate how much I believe I am worth. Self worth is an illusion--we and everything all have worth. Self acceptance is real. I accept my strengths, my weaknesses, my personality, but most importantly, I accept the world-I trust the world-whatever the world throws at me, I will react to it. Do not judge the reaction. The reaction or action, if it is the best I can do, then it is meant to happen, it is fate. If I accept fate, then I accept myself.

Thank you for your teachings. Im sick with cold in bed and doing a Koi marathon. I think I found my purpose. I like the way you put it in your other vid. about finding your purpose. To find what you can give. Others say to find what your good at. I am kinda good at alot of things so it kept me confused. But what I am good at that I feel will of use to others right now is child care. I plan on building it into a real business and eventually get a house that will be a small child care center. I also want to start a single mom group to talk about parenting and how to love ourselves and growing spiritually and how to teach our kids. How do you teach a small child to love their self and not to be a follower. I have a child now I am working with who has a learning disability caused by a missing chromosome. How do I teach this small 5 year old angel to love his self and to be confident even when he is years behind and will take al lot of effort to get him caught up ,,,, How do you suggest I help teach very small children these spiritual principles so they will be confident and love their self no matter whats gong on at home or with their friends. Im on my marathon so maybe Ill find the answer in one of your vids. BTW Have not even finished this one yet.. LOL Just too sick to find the- Find your purpose -vid to comment on the correct vid.. But It all goes together I guess...ok back to watching this vid...

Koi, First off, great video! I recently hit an unpleasant obstacle in life and there's two things I've been searching the answers for; 1. How to love yourself again or even for the first time which you just covered. 2. Healthy ways, tips, and/or mindset to overcome a 5 year relationship. I want to make the suggestion of a new video and ask you for your advice and knowledge on how to think, do, act and speak when you're life was shared with someone for many many years. Everything that surrounds me has an emotional attachment, even something as little as a candle. I've become aware of the fact that I turn to frustration and anger instead of acceptance of the situation. I would just like to know and understand how to NOT bottle these thoughts and emotions up and to go through the process in a healthy manner. Please get back to me, I really need this. Thank you, Alex
