Can't wait to see them live again later this year. Last time I saw them, Jake's Voice gave out and they were still my favourite live act that year.

They are. Hell, Jake's Voice was failing at the end of the second set, but he pulled through without flinching, even though he could barely speak afterwards. I can count the number of times I was this impressed by a show on one hand. I'll 100% be there later this year when they're back here. That's a band you don't want to miss.

However looking back this is a pretty reddit-tier comment I left and I probably wouldn't have left it today lol. For metal though, I can say my favorite song is probably The Apparition by Fates Warning. But again hard to say, so many different genres that bring so many different things to the table. I mean as I'm typing this I'm listening to classical orchestral music haha

This will go down as one of the true metal anthems like "medieval steel". They infuse classic heavy metal mixed to fit a modern audience so masterfully. I still can't listen to the rest of the album because of how much this song kicks ass. Visigoth is just a great band and the talent and love for the metal genre is shown here, their personal tastes, and in their side projects. Jake Rogers is a master at his craft and it "TRVLY" shows ;)

They were planned to play Party San in Türingen this year, but due to Corona the festival has been delayed a year - so now they are playing Party San 2021 :) party-san.de/banddetail/2021-visigoth Awesome festival, fairly priced, always an amazing line up, great sound and a good size (about 10,000 people). Been 4 times already and already have my ticket for 2021. Can't wait to see Visigoth live again!
