When me and my brother were in Jerusalem we asked an IDF solider what gun she had. If I remember correctly it was an M4. I remember her and everyone I spoke to being very friendly and this video felt very nostalgic for me. In a few years I will be 18 and join the IDF (I was born an Israeli citizen) I always knew after I went on that trip that it was my home. I was learning Hebrew about 6 months ago and am now going to get back into it so I come prepared. Thank for this video all I see online is hate and a video like this really brings me joy

Hi, I'm also Israeli living abroad and I'm debating whether I want to come back to do my army service... I would love to talk with you about this just to hear another teen's perspective that is similar to mine
@DavidAmodeo-wm1htАй бұрын
@@carolinegrace3963 From my understanding they give you a test and give you a role based on your interests. Even in my opinion being stuck in the worst role possible for 2 years to protect the country I love and care the most about is totally worth it. I also think staying and living in the country after your service is a pretty big benefit. It's a subject I feel strongly about and to be honest I'm disappointed my parents left Israel. I personally think you should join the IDF. I don't know if you've seen the October 7th footage or not but that is what really set my opinion where I don't think anything could change it.

I was told Israelis would be a bit harsh, but found the exact opposite, Israelíes were very nice and friendly and helpful when I was stuck trying to read Hebrew 😂.. I was so saddened to see the war break out.. I will return soon, I wish for peace to Israel in the future, and wish the woke world will wake up to see the truth… many of us support Israel even though it seems the world has turned its back… we just are not out screaming every weekend… may peace arrive soon…

Hi mate, Israeli here. Welcome to our country, it has a fair share of internal politics and many enemies abroad, but I swear we are very welcoming (generally) and most people just want to live in peace. How much longer are you in Israel? You have so many places you need to go to, I would be more than happy to meet with you in Tel Aviv if you’re still in Israel when I’m back :).
