I asked my gp about referring me to literally any gender clinic when I was like 14 and he said if I'm the luckiest person alive I'll probably get seen by the time I turn 19, so now I'm 17 and I'm praying that I'll be able to start going through a medical transition soon enough!! Seeing your journey has been so inspiring and has given me so much hope for the future!! I just wish Ireland had more opportunities for trans people in regards to medically transitioning :(

I fully understand this, I was informed by Dr.Neff that they're building a website to help give the information the public needs with transgender healthcare :D

Hi, do you happen to know any trans guys that have CF? I've been looking into buying a binder for a while but because I have CF which is a condition that affects the lungs I don't know if I'll be allowed to wear one I tried finding more information about it online but I wasn't able to so I was hoping maybe if you knew a person then I could talk to them

I don't know, I'm sorry but I'm sure you could speak to your doctor about it and they could advise the best way forward

I'm glad hysto isn't forced. Cos I'm scared to having to do it so soon. Eventually, the organ down there does struggle a lot and there is risks of pcos and such tho. Still make sure to get checked when you're comfortable.

Ah Christ. Just got on the waiting about half a year back now. Seeing people have been waiting 4+ years doesn't inspire confidence I'll get in soon lol

One word of advice is your doctor isn’t always right, my endochrinologist hasn’t got a clue on many things. The NHS don’t even give us hysterectomies until we’re in extreme cramping pain (and even then they often don’t allow it, see a user called Endeavour on Twitter). He’s right that you don’t have to get a hysto but a lot of people do because their cramps get so bad that they have no choice, it’s not a matter of “well i need to have one or I’ll get cancer”. Having an organ lay dormant for decades is bound to cause issues, like Buck Angel getting severe atrophy. I’d just see how you go, some people need one and some people don’t

this was the case for me. the cramping got so bad i needed a hysto. Eventhough the ultrasound was fine me and my doctor stil knew it was T related and it was. after my recovery i never had cramps again. But when i did have them the where all right at first but by the end i was doubled up in pain and not a single medication or pain relief med helpt. So don't wait with a hysto either.

@@noahvb510 how far along on T were u when u needed a hysto?
@noahvb5103 жыл бұрын
@@exclusiveboi1723 1 year and 6 months. But had by that time been having these bad cramps for a year or so. I'm belgian and got a referal on my 1 year on T appointment because i didn't see a reason for not having a hysto in the first place. don't want kids and don't mind T for the rest of my life anyway. had it done in june 2020 so without covid i might have gotten it sooner who knows.
@exclusiveboi17233 жыл бұрын
@@noahvb510 you got cramps that bad that early?? Jeeeez! The cramps I got pre-T were horrific but I don’t really get them at all anymore on T
@noahvb5103 жыл бұрын
@@exclusiveboi1723 jep, it is rare though. i know a lot of transguys who never had issues and those who have cramps never had them like i did. and yea never really got them pre-t so they where also a big dysphoria trigger.

This is what the Internet has done to humans. Women thinking they're men and men thinking they're women but they're not and i for one won't be calling someone something they're not. Also when it comes to sports play it with other trans people!

I just don't understand why you want to be a man. I am a man and was born a man, everything about being a man absolutely sucks, I don't get it. Being a woman is better but you don't think so, I just don't understand you at all.
