Absolutely loved this. My grandparents had their honeymoon here 70 years ago! Now they are both there for eternity as it was their last wish. Bute is absolutely beautiful.

Aw, Isle of Bute! ❤️💔 Spent so much time there as a child with my aunt Mary. Such a beautiful place, especially when you get out to the beaches: Scalpsie, St Ninian's Bay, Ettrick, Kilchatin. And Rothesay of course! Sweet Rothesay Bay. Also have to go to Mount Stuart....Just go!!!

I need to slow down, pause and enjoy/appreciate the architecture of these buildings and essential infrastructure. 9:15 to 11:40 Am enjoying the ferry experience. 14:40 What beautiful faces and smiles! Loved the video. Bute is a wonderful Island. Next time try visit St Blane's chapel at the South of the island, then go to Kingarth Hotel for fantastic food. Stunning beach at Kilchattan Bay. Really is a stunning place.

i rememeber going to bute/rothsay in the mid eighties with some mates one who'd just passed his driving test and took us in his first car..our soundtrack was a tape i brought for the car..side one van halen I..and side two..diamondhead..canterbury..well ..it was the eighties!..lol.wish i had taken photos of that trip.

My family owned a room and kitchen just at the bottom of Canada Hill, now demolished. Had been going there since the early 60s .

Lovely video, but i bet you had a sore back on those beds in the glenburn😂 I stayed there but found the beds to be extremely hard😮 Shame you didn't hire a couple of bicycles you could have seen much more, popped into the pencil box, got yourself some lovely tablet 🤤 or a book . We go back often, but self-catering is probably the best as we struggled to find a decent place to eat.

You missed walki g up to Canada hill and Ardecraig gardens there is also some nice walking there is quite a lot to do if you know where to look.

Not fully explained is the stay in the hotel part of the travel package how much for this whole package please. ??

I can't quite remember which site we booked the hotel on but once I did some research on Isle of Bute hotels and decided I liked the look of the place, I looked on different websites like Booking.com to find the best deal :)

It was perfect for us and I’d happily spend a week or more just wandering about and trying to spot seals 😅 but I totally get what you mean too! 😊

Not much to do! 🙄 Walking on the beaches, watching the hills and the water, drinking coffee, charity shopping, chatting, bird spotting, breathing in the freshest of sea air, eating fish and chips, laughing, walking up Canada hill, walking through the woods, visiting Mount Stuart..... the list goes on and on my friend 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
