I was just there. The cats really don’t want anything to do with you unless you are playing with them or feeding them. They are extremely soft but do not like to be touched. There is also no real cafe, just vending machines you can buy drinks from. Overall it was fun and I enjoyed my time.

Exactly what k hanna said. They're cats. That's what cats do. They're very independent animals. If they dont want to be near you, then you can just enjoy watching their mannerisms and their daily life. Unlike dogs, they're not gonna jump at the thought of companionship. There are just 2 cat cafes in London and sadly neither of them are anywhere near as sophisticated as the ones you have in Japan. I remember thinking cats were the same, everywhere. It's actually not true. And it's always this major surprise to pet a cat and its fur is unlike any thing you've ever felt. There was this one tabby cat in Amsterdam, that had the run of this area, between a snack store and the smart shop across the street. Its fur was like 'scaley.' Really smooth, kinda had this polished shell feeling on it. Super healthy cat. The other place, I got to spend time with a cat, was in Shanghai at this Taoist Temple, right in the heart of the city. It was a white, long haired cat. And I was totally surprised at how the fur was cooler, and clean/damp. It was soft, too. Never felt fur like that anywhere. If you've been to Shanghai, it's like air pollution central, so an outdoor/temple cat, being really clean, but in a different way, was really an interesting thing to experience in China. I remember thinking that my opinion of Shanghai hinged on how 'clean' the cat's fur was. Japanese cats are really interesting. The white Persian kitty is like this beautiful 'yeti' like cat. If I could afford Tokyo, THIS is the place I would want to visit, Neko Cafe MOCHA.

I have three cats with very different hair types. Although two are Siberian cats, one has extremely long cotton like fur and the other has slightly shorter really silky fur. My third has short spiky hair.

Ah! I love cat cafes! I went to a few in Tokyo and Kyoto! I have two cats at home, but it's so nice to see other cats as well. I'm surprised also that they did not rip the screen apart to get outside! My cats have done that before 😂 huge hole!

Thank you for uploading this lovely video. It was wonderful and sad at the same time for me. I had two beautiful cats and they have now passed over and I miss them every nano second of every day. My heart is broken forever. It seems quite expensive to be there but I suppose the costs helps to feed the fur babies and I would probably stay all day. Thank you for the upload.

Can't wait you adopt them too? I would've took the white one with blue eyes but wow, this cafe has gorgeous cats. I'm a fan of cats with long fur. also never seen a cage with a ton of purebreds. I noticed a Turkish Angora, Persian, Munchkin, British Shorthair, Turkish Van, Maine Coone, and a Devon Rex..So many!! I would've adopted like 5 cats!!

I went to cat cafès more than once while i was in Tokyo (this one included!) and all of them had really cared for the cats. They were friendly, well adjusted and so so SO cute! I grew up with cats and i always loved them. Unfortunately my cat (and cat cafès) days are over, because i became allergic to their fur in 2020 ;___;
