I visited in July 2023, ie last month not knowing that it was the best month to be in Istanbul. And it really was,but the hotel tarrifs were costly. Weather was just awesome. There is a huge language barrier. No one except few shopkeepers speaks any other language . Had a tough time moving around. even google failed on several occasions. But people r friendly and open to help. Cleanliness is the USP of Turkish people,even cheapest of the hotels are neat and clean I wish to visit again.
