We just drove in like normal and walked up to the place. When the video starts we were a few feet from where we parked the car. No one stopped us or anything. You went in May? Ronnie passed away in May 16, 2010 so it's possible the family didn't want fans/visitors since it was around his anniversary. You should try again if you're in LA again.

Piece of me died with him. He was bigger than life. Saw him in early 80's a few times. Man, what an incredible, powerful voice. He was gracious enough to pose for a picture with me. I will treasure that forever. His love of animals was something I found out about in the internet age. Truly amazing human. R.I.P. Ronnie😢

It is. Ronnie was an amazing person and definitely my favorite metal singer. I met him in Hollywood briefly in a random passing in a parking lot. I was so shocked, all I could say was "you're Ronnie James Dio!" and he smiled and said "yes I am", lol. I wish I had been able to have said even just a little about how much I loved his music, but I'm glad I got to see him in person none the less. - What a once in a lifetime talent!

Yea more or less now looking at it. It took us awhile. Just go through the Main Entrance where the BIG WATER FOUNTAIN is. The street you'll be driving is Memorial Dr. and then turn Left on Evergreen Dr. Take Evergreen Dr. up then turn Right on Memorial Dr. (Yes, Memorial again!). When you turn Right you will see the Courts of Remembrance on your left. Make a Left (First and only Left) on Vista Ln. right before the Courts of Remembrance and pull up in front where the stairs are at, that's where my video begins.
