Visiting Strasbourg, and tour of CityKamp Strasbourg Camping. Wohnfühlen 8.

In the concluding episode of the Wohnfühlen Series with Bürstner UK, James Popsys and I dive in to Strasbourg for the day before handing back the Motorhome. We take in the Museum of Modern Art and a wonderful stroll around Petite France before diving in to a warm cafe to escape the cold. Then we head out to check out the ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Notre Dame Cathedral. Unfortunately it was closed to visitors at the time of day we were there.
We stayed at CityKamp Strasbourg (Strasbourg Camping) part of the Huttopia Group. As such, it is the best campsite in Strasbourg, and very convenient. I take you on a brief tour of the campsite.
Finally, all good things come to an end, and I head back to the UK via Paris on the Tram, TGV, Eurostar, and a South Eastern Trains Electrostar before a very, very happy reunion.

As is said elsewhere, the rodent looks like a coypu which we get in the drainage channels where we live in the countryside of the northern tip of France. Och, thank you for that wee tour of Strasbourg. There were areas of the city, including the cathedral, that I vaguely remember seeing whilst living in Severn with my parents+ 60 years ago, ...my father+ was American military. Strasbourg is so French, but yet so German at the same time. As always, a cracking video. Slàinte Mhath.

Coypu, River Rat or Nutria (Myocastor coypus)

I was hoping the unidentified mammal was a Water Vole. Not a rat but depicted by Kenneth Grahame as "Ratty" in wind in the willows. An endangered species and its presence is indicative of a river without pollution. BUT it looks to be a musk rat, an introduced species - naturally controlled by alligators. So the good news is - not may Alligators in Strasbourg.
