The small crafts at Puerto Escondido were pleased to receive a regal guest from the seas, sad that you had to leave. The Rays put on a show! And the Dolphins are back, not to be outdone.

Another very groovy sailing adventure. Bummer about not being able to surf. I surfed Mexico after a hurricane in the late 1960's, with waves coming in at 20 feet. Perfect tubes but so fast you had to take off sideways. Groovy belated Birthday Buddy.

Oh wow, our machines feel each other's pain. You essentially had a head wind with the current against you. I hate that. I flew my plane to my mother's last weekend on a Friday and returned on Sunday. Both days I was cursed with a strong headwind that turned a "no wind" flight of 1 hour 40 minutes into a 2 hour flight each way. A lot of times the winds are going wildly different directions at different altitudes so we can chase the best option but I had the same wind at all altitudes both days. They were great flights though. Love the channel. Thanks for sharing!!!

Wow very interesting! That would be much tougher to forecast and plan for. Like most weather you don’t know what it will be like until your out there doing it. So special you can fly to your mum’s for a visit! Love it!

I believe those are religious catholic celebrations that you are seeing. I've only seen them on land and had no idea the coastal cities ask the bands to play in the water. The song was a birthday song... so just as well could have been a birthday celebration. lol. Fascinating. Safe travels and fair winds.

We sail through the night if we need to. Especially when you are crossing an ocean. It is usually a long way and too deep to anchor. Thanks for watching 😊
