Building the 7FT GUNDAM Ultimate Papercraft

After burning my 4FT Freedom Gundam papercraft in 2010 I was determined to create a bigger and better replacement. This 7FT Gundam Mk-2 papercraft became the result of my goal, made up of 1250 parts on 720 pages, for a total paper weight of 10lb (4.5kg).

Mind=Blown I appreciate your work very much I have done few papercrafts myself but nothing of this magnitude, I really like the fact that you and brother made an effort to make such great progress video, also the "beyond presentations" it's like triple behind scenes. I thought that when I made gears heart I made some progress, but when I saw your film I realised that, that was nothing (nevertheless it's also awesome ;]) I saw your other works and this isn't the only thing you did that is great

Man wish could have a suit that looked like this. I know it's a paper statue, and I am no where near tall enough to fit the proportionsnof a Gundam, but would be awesome, specially since the MK II is one of my favorites

What printer and cutters did you use? Are they Silhouette SD? And how did you handle the white edges of the cardstock? The result is amazing...so seamless...You're absolutely an inspiration.

XD Seriously, I just found out about the papercraft world today and thought of maybe trying for myself, but watching this gundam video and another one with the Thousand Sunny ship from One Piece and seeing how much troublesome and wondering how much expensive all this colored prints could be, I definitely lost all motivation to try build that and guess I'll just keep buying action figures and be happy with it...
